Warner Bros. To Release 'Dune' In Maharashtra A Week After Rest of India Debut

Mumbai, October 1 - The reopening of theaters in the biggest India's movie market, Maharashtra, has given the big relief to the filmmakers. The announcement of reopening of cinemas from October 22 has led a flurry of release date announcement of nearly two dozen of Hindi films, which will release over the next 6-8 months, starting from Diwali this year. ## The much-awaited cinema opening news also proved to be a blessing in disguise for some of the Hollywood films, which are now rescheduling the release dates to take the advnatage. Keeping certain things in mind, Warner Bros. has finalized the release of epic sci-fi film on October 22 in India execpt Maharasthra, where the movie will debut in theaters on October 29 in Hindi and Eglish, a week after theaters reopening in the state. ## Dune is an epic science fiction film directed by Denis Villeneuve with a screenplay by Jon Spaihts, Villeneuve, and Eric Roth. Mumbai, October 1 - For more than a year now, Disney+Hotstar's Indian adaptation of the British mini-series The Night Manager, has been waiting to see the light of the tunnel. However, things are finally looking all settled and the streamer has reportedly roped in Aditya Roy Kapur and Anil Kapoor to lead this big-budget series. ## Earlier, the spy drama series was supposed to be headlined by the Bollywood superstar Hrithik Roshan and he was reportedly paid a whopping 75 crores for the same. However, just before the series was set to go on floors, Hrithik walked out of the project, and it was put on hold indefinitely. It is reported that Roshan was not comfortable with the long schedules and decided to walk out. ## And now, amid the uncertainty over the project, The Night Manager Indian adaptation is reportedly back on track and will be headlined by the Malang actors. Aditya Roy Kapur is said to be stepping into the shoes of Tom Hiddleston and play the role of a luxury hotel night manager and former Indian soldier while Anil Kapoor will reprise Hugh Laurie's role of an arms dealer who disguises himself to be a business tycoon.## The series will be produced by Preity Zinta in association with Banijay Asia while Sandeep Modi who co-directed Ram Madhvani's Emmay Awards nominated Aarya has been brought on board to direct this six-part. The two were battling out for an alleged breach of contract over Johansson's "Black Widow" release, which has now been resolved. The terms of the deal were not disclosed. ## "I am happy to have resolved our differences with Disney", stated Johansson according to THR. "I'm incredibly proud of the work we've done together over the years and have greatly enjoyed my creative relationship with the team. I look forward to continuing our collaboration in years to come".## Due to the lawsuit, filed by Johansson in July over the day-and-date release of "Black Widow" on Disney+ and theaters, the upcoming "Tower of Terror" movie in Johansson was slated to produce and star in was rumored to be canceled. The actor has played this iconic character in five Bond movies including "No Time To Die" and is regarded as one of the finest Bond characters in the history of the franchise. Craig's Bond has not only becomes the fan-favorite but also take the franchise to new highs in terms of the scale and box office potential. ## If "No Time To Die" is really going to be Craig's final outing as a British fictional MI6 agent, then he will go down as the most successful Bond of the franchise at the box office.
