Ayushmann Khurrana To Star In & As 'Action Hero' In Bhushan Kumar And Aanand L Rai's Joint Production

Mumbai, October 9 - Ayushmann Khurrana, known for doing pathbreaking and social drama films, will now be trying his hands in action, a completely new genre for the supremely talented actor. On Saturday (October 9), Ayushmann announced his next film, titled Action Hero, for which he reunited with filmmaker Anand L Rai and Bhushan Kumar. ## The movie is said to be different from the regular masala action movies and defined as a genre-breaking collab. It will be jointly produced by Anand L Rai and Bhushan Kumar under their respective production banners Color Yellow Production and T-Series. "Action Hero" will be directed by Anirudh Iyer Ganapathy, who will be making his directorial debut with this film. The movie is written by Neeraj Yadav and Anirudh Iyer.## "I hope our track record to entertain audiences worldwide with disruptive scripts continues with 'Action Hero'," said Khurrana. "Colour Yellow and T- Series are like a second home to me. I absolutely loved the script of 'Action Hero' instantly. Doctor Review: The Early Reviews For Sivakarthikeyan's 'Doctor' Are Out

Chennai, October 9 - It has been a long wait for actor Sivakarthikeyan's fans to watch their favourite star on the big screen. After going through the pandemic crisis, OTT speculations, and delays, the actor's action crime comedy film, "Doctor" was finally released in theatres on October 9. ## "Doctor" has been one of the most-awaited Tamil films. Directed by Nelson Dilipkumar, the movie was earlier supposed to release in April this year. However, due to the elections in Tamil Nadu and the second covid-19 pandemic, the makers were forced to postpone the release. Christopher Nolan's 'Oppenheimer' Casts Cillian Murphy To Play The Title Role; Sets 2023 Release In Theaters

Los Angeles, October 9 - Filmmaker Christopher Nolan's upcoming most-anticipated film based on the development of the atomic bomb in World War II, has been titled Oppenheimer. In addition to it, Universal Studios and Syncopy have cast Cillian Murphy to play the title role, which is about J. Robert Oppenheimer who is known as the father of the atomic bomb. ## Nolan and Murphy are longtime collaborators. The duo previously worked together on "Batman Begins", "Inception" and "Dunkirk". This time, however, Murphy has been cast to play the lead for the first time in Nolan's film. Oppenheimer will also be Nolan's return to WWII after Dunkirk, which earned the director his first and only Academy Award nomination for Best Director.## The upcoming film, like previous Nolan films such as "Dunkirk" and "The Dark Knight", will be shot with IMAX cameras and it will start production early next year. Universal Pictures will make the $100 million film after winning the rights, beating the likes of Warner Bros., Paramount, and Sony. The studio will distribute the film theatrically worldwide and has set July 21, 2023, release date in North America for a minimum of 100 days in theaters. ## The film is described as "an IMAX-shot epic thriller that thrusts audiences into the pulse-pounding paradox of the enigmatic man who must risk destroying the world in order to save it". Oppenheimer will be written by Nolan, produced by Emma Thomas, Atlas Entertainment's Charles Roven, and Nolan. It is based on the Pulitzer Prize-winning book American Prometheus: The Triumph and Tragedy of J. Robert Oppenheimer, written by Kai Bird and Martin J. The United Artist Releasing/MGM/Eon's film off to $6.3 million from Thursday box office previews that began at 4 p.m. ## The Thursday previews box office collection for "No Time To Die" is best for a Bond film, 19% ahead of Spectre's $5.25M, and also exceeds the preview nights of previous Daniel Craig 007 movies Skyfall ($4.6M off midnight shows) and Quantum of Solace ($2.5M off 8 p.m. showtimes).## "No Time To Die" Thursday previews are lower than the previews Hollywood pic "Shang-Chi" ($8.8M), "Venom 2" ($11.6M), "Black Widow" ($13.2M). However, the audience for Bond films is different from all these movies, as Bond is dependent on older adult audiences, and should they show up this weekend, the pic will over-index.## The 25th Bond has conservatively estimated to earn $55M-$60M in the opening domestic weekend, but exhibitors have set over $70M estimate for the film and over $150M worldwide for its second global weekend. ## The advance ticket sales for "No Time To Die" on Fandango already are ahead of Venom - Let There Be Carnage, and previous Bond films Spectre ($70.4M), Quantum of Solace ($67.5M), and Casino Royale ($40.8M). Mumbai, October 8 - "Venom - Let There Be Carnage" actor Woody Harrelson got into a scuffle with a man on Wednesday night and allegedly punched him. ## The incident took place on the rooftop of Washington DC's infamous Watergate Hotel at around 11 p.m. on Wednesday where a man wasn't stopping taking pictures with the 60-year old actor and his daughter, according to NBC4 Washington.## It is reported that Harrelson approached the man and told him to stop taking photos and delete the ones he had already captured. This got him into a verbal argument with the man, who then lunged towards Harrelson to grab his neck, and the actor punched the man in the neck in self-defense.## Police were called to the hotel after the incident happened. A report by police officers then tells how the actor admitted he got into a verbal dispute with the man and he punched him "in his neck in defense of himself". ## Witnesses backed up the 'Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri' star's account of what had happened, and police told NBC Washington their statements suggested the other man had been the aggressor. An investigation is ongoing, but NBC4 notes that Harrelson wasn't charged.## Meanwhile, Woody Harrelson has a long history of getting into trouble with people taking pictures of him and making videos. In 1995, he got into a scuffle with two paparazzi who he claimed had stalked his family during a visit to Martha's Vineyard and was later ordered to pay one of them over $4,800, while the other, who had filmed the incident, was given just $2.## In 2008, he was sued for reportedly attacking and breaking the video camera of a photographer, with the case dismissed two years later after they agreed on a settlement out of court. Marvel Studios' 'Eternals' Confirmed To Be The Second Longest MCU Film Ever

Mumbai, October 7 - Marvel Studios is gearing up for its next big-budget superhero film "Eternals". Scheduled to debut in theaters on November 5 worldwide, "Eternals" has a lot to offer to Marvel fans who have a lot of questions to get their answers. The movie was recently confirmed to be set in two timelines, one in past and the other in the present time. ## Meanwhile, Marvel has also revealed the theatrical runtime of Eternals and it is one of the longest films in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) to date. Directed by Oscar-winning director ChloƩ Zhao, Eternals has been confirmed to be the second-longest MCU film with a runtime of 2 hours 37 minutes that is 7 minutes longer than Avengers: Infinity War. Avengers: Endgame still holds the title of longest MCU movie with a runtime of 3 hours and 1 minute. ## The movie chronicles the Eternals, an immortal alien race, emerges from hiding after thousands of years to protect Earth from its evil counterparts, the Deviants. The fans, however, were left wondering why Eternals didn't come to support Avengers against Thanos during Infinity War and Endgame. ## To which, director Zhao recently revealed that Eternals were instructed not to interfere until they are told to do so. In the film, we will get to see the origin of Eternals in MCU and about their relationship to the Celestials and why they were specifically instructed not to help the people of Earth, even in their most desperate moments. ## Zhao's superhero movie features a star-studded ensemble that includes Gemma Chan, Richard Madden, Kumail Nanjiani, Lia McHugh, Brian Tyree Henry, Lauren Ridloff, Barry Keoghan, Don Lee, Harish Patel, Kit Harington, Salma Hayek, and Angelina Jolie. The first trailer of the movie was dropped in May and the final dropped in September this year. Kajol Team Up With Actress-Director Revathy For A Real-Life Inspired Film 'The Last Hurrah'

Mumbai, October 7 - Supremely talented actress turned director, Revathy is returning to direction after more than a decade. Revathy's directorial return will feature one of the finest in her work, Kajol in the leading role. The two have collaborated for the first time to create an inspiring story with their upcoming film, "The Last Hurrah", which is inspired by the true event. ## "The Last Hurrah", is an inspiring tale of an exemplary mother, Sujata, who battled the most challenging situations one can ever face with a smile. It will be produced by Suuraj Sinngh and Shraddha Agrawal under the banners of Blive Productions and Take 23 Studios Production. The film is currently under the pre-production stage and will go on floors soon. ## Speaking about the film and choosing Kajol for the role of Sujata, Revathy said in a statement, "Sujata's journey in The Last Hurrah is extremely close to my heart.
