Mumbai, October 7 - Amazon Prime Video's recently released Malayalam movie, "Home" is all set to be remade in Hindi. Vikram Malhotra's Abundantia Entertainment (Sherni, Shakuntala Devi, Airlift) has bought the remake rights of this critically acclaimed film and will produce it along with the original's actor-producer Vijay Babu's production company Friday Film House. ## "Home" has been hailed as one of the finest films of the year coming out from the Malayalam cinema. The film shows how a father struggles to connect with his sons who spent most of their time on mobile phones than with their loved ones. The film left a lasting impact on the audiences and strike a chord with a strong message. ## Written and directed by Rojin Thomas, "Home" stars Indrans, whose portrayal as Oliver Twist won the hearts of the audiences along with Manju pillai, Naslen K Gafoor, Sreenath Bhasi, Deepa Thomas, among others in key roles. Due to the closure of cinemas in Kerala, the movie was released directly on Amazon Prime Video on August 19. ## The cast and crew for the Hindi remake of "Home" are yet to be locked. Russian Actress Yulia Peresild Becomes The First To Shoot A Feature Film Entirely In Orbit

Mumbai, October 6 - A Russian film "The Challange" has started the historic production after taking the outer space route on October 5. Director Klim Shipenko and actress Yulia Peresild are the first in the world to shot a feature film entirely in orbit, dashing Tom Cruise's dream of being the first to shoot a film in space. ## The director-actress pair beat out thousands of hopefuls to win the opportunity of making their film aboard the International Space Station. The duo launched into space on October 5 where they will shoot for 12 days. Russian Federal Space Agency, Roscosmos, and Russian state TV Channel One are jointly producing the film.## A Russian commission of medical and safety experts had recently approved a plan for an actress and a director to blast off early October to film the first full-length, fictional movie in space. "The Challenge," tells the story of a doctor launched on short notice to the International Space Station to save the life of a cosmonaut.## Seasoned astronaut Anton Shkaplerov has also gone with them on the expedition and he will act as mission commander. He has also been tapped to moonlight as an actor in the film. Mumbai, October 6 - Sony Pictures Films India has announced a supernatural thriller film, which will be directed by Sabbir Khan (Heropanti, Baaghi, Nikamma). The film, which features Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Diana Penty, and Shreya Dhanwanthary in the leading roles along with Rohan Mehra, has been titled "Adbhut". ## The film marks Sabbir Khan's second collaboration with Nawazuddin Siddiqui after the 2017 action-dance film Munna Michael and with Sony India after his yet-to-be-released feature "Nikamma", starring Shilpa Shetty, Abhimanyu Dasani, and Shirley Setia in the lead roles. ## Scheduled to be released in 2022, "Adbhut" is backed and produced by Sony Pictures Films India in association with Sabbir Khan Films. The shooting of the film has begun in a studio in Mumbai. ## "After Nikamma, this is the second film that will be produced by Sony Pictures Films India and Sabbir Khan Films. The two big-budgeted most-awaited Telugu movies are set to arrive in theaters on December 17. While "Acharya" will release only in Telugu, Allu Arjun's "Pushpa" will have a Pan-India release in five languages. ## "Pushpa - Part 1" was earlier supposed to release on Christmas 2021 but the makers recently confirmed that it will be arriving a week before, on December 17. The makers of "Acharya", however, has yet to announce the release date officially, but it is reportedly locked for December 17 release in theaters worldwide. ## Under the current circumstances, the big box office clashes are bound to happen as there is hardly any release window left to get a solo release. It is not only Acharya vs Pushpa at the box office as Marvel Studios' superhero film "Spider-Man: No Way Home" is also scheduled to release in cinemas in India on December 17 in multiple languages. ## Acharya, directed by Koratala Siva, is an action drama film. It also stars Ram Charan, Kajal Aggarwal, and Pooja Hegde in prominent roles along with Sonu Sood, Jisshu Sengupta, Posani Krishna Murali, Tanikella Bharani, among others. The film has continued its epic siege on the country's cinemas and becomes the just third film to go past $400M this year at the Chinese box office. ## To date, "The Battle of Lake Changjin" has earned $405 million (RMB 2.62 billion) in just six days of its domestic box office run, making it one of the fasted to reach the milestone worldwide. It has also become the 24th film to break the 2-billion-yuan box office mark and has broken 12 Chinese film industry records, including the National Day holiday film single-day box office record, the National Day holiday opening day screen time record, and the opening day box office record for a war movie.## "The Battle at Lake Changjin" is believed to be China's most expensive film ever made with a production budget of approx $200 million. Mumbai, October 5 - Marvel is a huge film franchise in India and its movies have always been a big screen fest for the fans. On Tuesday (October 5), Marvel announced its slate of 2021 and 2022 movies with release dates on Marvel India Twitter handle. Disney is the distributing partner for Marvel movies.## Among the six Marvel films announced with release dates, Mahershala Ali's "Blade" was one of the movies in the list, which is shown with a October 7, 2022 date. While it is a great news for the fans, it would be an uphill task for Marvel to retain that release for the film. The film is currently in the pre-production stage and isn't set to begin filming until July 2022. ## It's no secret that Marvel Studios has a packed slate in 2022 and it if really wants to retain "Blade's" release in October, the studio will get maximum 3 months for the production, which is imposible considering a lot of time in post-production will be used. So why did an official Marvel account claim a false date? The most probable scenario is that, originally, Blade was slated to premiere on October 7, 2022 prior to its production being pushed back due to the ongoing health crisis. ## Marvel Studios had originally announced "Blade Reboot" in MCU during the 2019 edition of San Diego Comic-Con with award-winning actor Mahershala Ali in the lead. It will be directed by Bassam Tariq and is written by Staci Osei-Kuffour. Apart from Ali, there is no confirmed cast memeber has been announced yet and there are no sign of production taking place anytime soon. Considering all the aspects, it is clear that Marvel India has made a big blunder by announcing 7 October 2022 release. ## Previously, The Hollywood Reporter had revealed that Blade's production was moved from September 2021 all the way to July 2022 which further cements the fact that this October 2022 release date is the film's original date. Mumbai, October 5 - Disney Studios is going to have a blast in the Indian cinemas in the next 15 months with the number of potential blockbuster movies. The Studio has announced its slate of theatrical releases for Indian audiences which consist of 6 Marvel Studios films, 3 Disney's original movies, and the last is James Cameron's Avatar sequel. ## To begin with, the first film by Disney to release in India is Marvel Studios' Eternals. The superhero film starring Angelina Jolie, Salma Hayek, among others, is slated to hit theaters on Dilwai this year on November 5. It will be clashing with Bollywood's most-awaited cop-drama film "Sooryavanshi" starring Akshay Kumar.## The second film from the studio is again a Marvel movie. Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, which stars Benedict Cumberbatch as Stephen Strange and Elizabeth Olsen, will release in the next year on March 25, 2022. Mumbai, October 5 - Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan's son, Aryan Khan along with Arbaaz Merchantt and Munmun Dhamecha have been sent to the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) custody till 7 October in connection with the alleged seizure of drugs onboard a Mumbai luxury cruise on Saturday. ## Aryan Khan and other accused were produced before a Mumbai court on Monday where the court extended the remand custody of the three till 7 October, stating that the investigation is of "prime importance" in this case. Advocate Satish Maneshinde represents Aryan Khan while Additional Solicitor General Anil Singh represents the NCB. It is NCB sought custody till 11 October.## During the hearing in the court, NCB alleged that there were 'links' found in Aryan Khan's WhatsApp chats that point to an existence of an 'international racket', according to the quint from the report by Live Law. ASG Anil Singh told that there are 8 accused related to the ship and also told the Court that the NCB had procured a commercial quantity of drugs when the ninth accused, a supplier from Mumbai's Juhu, was arrested.## Mr. Singh also alleged that Aryan was discussing the modes of payment and code names were used. He further told the Court that all offenses under the NDPS Act are non-bailable citing previous Bombay High Court judgments, including Rhea Chakraborty's bail order. He sought remand custody till October 11 to track the financing and to unearth the nexus. ## Meanwhile, Aryan Khan claimed that he did not pay anything for the party and went there with his friend on the invitation from the organizers, as per a statement read by Khan's Lawyer Satish Maneshinde. He also claimed that nothing was found on him after his bag was searched by the NCB. ## Maneshinde recalled a judgment to show that commercial quantity found in one accused can't be used to incriminate another. A Supreme Court ruling was also referred to argue that WhatsApp chats cannot be used to incriminate an accused. He also argued against Aryan's remand by stating, "Mere chatting on the phone without corroboration doesn't make an offense".## Stay tuned...
