Los Angeles, August 25 - As SAG-AFTRA strikes continue to hit Hollywood, Warner Bros. Pictures is left with no choice but to postpone the release of its highly-anticipated sci-fi epic "Dune: Part 2" to next year from its original November 3, 2023, date.## Directed by Denis Villeneuve, the sequel, which will continue the story of Paul Atreides, played by Timothée Chalamet, will now be hitting big screens on March 15, 2024. It was revealed last month that the studio is planning to shift the release date of "Dune 2" if strikes continue and now, the official announcement has been made regarding the same.## As part of the shift, "Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire", which was slated for March 14, 2024, has now been pushed back one month to April 12, 2024. It is the sequel to "Godzilla vs. Kong" (2021) and is the latest entry in the Monsterverse franchise from Legendary and Warner Bros.## The postponement of "Dune 2" is going to benefit Marvel Studios' "The Marvels" which is scheduled to hit cinemas on November 10 this year. Hyderabad, August 25 - Telugu superstar Allu Arjun's highly-awaited Pan India movie "Pushpa - The Rule" release date has reportedly been locked. Directed by Sukumar, the film is the second part of "Pushpa - The Rise" which is the highest-grossing film of the actor with a worldwide gross collection of over 360 crores. ## The film is currently in the production stage and according to Aakashavaani, the makers have locked a March 22, 2024, release date in multiple languages. It will be released two weeks before superstar Jr. NTR's Pan India movie "Devara" which is slated for April 5, 2024, release.## "Pushpa 2" is produced by Mythri Movie Makers in association with Sukumar Writings. It stars Allu Arjun in the title role alongside Rashmika Mandanna, and Fahadh Faasil, among other prominent roles. The movie surpassed all but "Baahubali 2 The Conclusion" to score the second biggest second week of all time in the Hindi language.## Directed by Anil Sharma, the sequel minted 134.47 crores net collection in its second week. SS Rajamouli's "Baahubali 2" remains the highest second-week grosser movie in Hindi with 143.25 crores net while Aamir Khan's "Dangal" is the third biggest in the list with around 116 crores net.## Highest 2nd Week Collection Movies In Hindi of All-Time - ## 1. The much-awaited sequel stars Ayushmann Khurrana in the lead role while Ananya Pandey plays the female lead.## After "Dream Girl 2", Paresh Rawal will be reuniting with superstar Akshay Kumar on the third installment of the Welcome and Hera Pheri as well as the second installment of the Awara Paagal Deewana franchise. In "Welcome 3", titled "Welcome To The Jungle", Paresh Rawal will reprise his role as Dr. Dayal Ghungroo and is the prominent actor to be a part of all three films in the franchise. ## The makers have already confirmed that "Welcome 3" will be released in cinemas on Christmas 2024, and now, Paresh Rawal has shared some updates regarding the shoot of the movie. During a recent interview with Pinkvilla, the legendary actor confirmed that "Welcome 3" will go on floors in October this year and said that he is looking forward to reuniting with the entire team for another adventure ride. ## The actor also shed some light on "Hera Pheri 3" and said that it will go on floors sometime next year. It is to be noted that "Hera Pheri 3" was supposed to go on floors this year before "Welcome 3" but due to legal issues, the makers had to postpone the filming to next year. 'Dream Girl 2' Advance Booking Status And Early Opening Day Box Office Prediction

Mumbai, August 22 - Ayushmann Khurran and Ananya Pandey-fronted comedy-drama film "Dream Girl 2" is getting ready to release on August 25. Directed by Raaj Shaandilyaa and produced by Balaji Motion Pictures, Dream Girl 2 is a spiritual sequel to the 2019 film Dream Girl. ## Being a sequel to a box office hit movie, Dream Girl 2 is carrying a lot of expectations as far as the box office numbers are concerned. The good thing about the movie is that there is awareness among moviegoers due to its successful history and unique promotion strategy. ## The movie has been able to fetch decent advance sales so far which is encouraging considering the sold competition from the holdover movies "Gadar 2" and "OMG 2". As of 8 PM on August 22, the film has sold approx. 27K tickets worth 80 lakhs for the opening day. In three national chains, it has sold approximately 17.4K tickets, including 12.4K tickets in PVR, 2750 tickets in INOX, and 2250 tickets in Cinepolis.## The current pre-sales trend of the movie indicates the opening in the range of 7-8 crores.
