Prithviraj Sukumaran Reacts on Salaar Vs Dunki Box Office Clash

Mumbai, October 17 - The year 2023 has been historic for Indian cinema, especially for Bollywood which shows a few massive blockbusters at the box office so far, and it is not yet done. The last quarter of the year has already begun and there are, at least, 6-7 huge films that will release over the next 2 and a half months.

Among the most-awaited upcoming films in 2023, superstar Shah Rukh Khan and director Rajkumar Hirani's "Dunki" and superstar Prabhas' "Salaar" with director Prashanth Neel are slated to take on each other on December 22. This is the clash of the titans everyone is waiting for, including actor Prithviraj Sukumaran who is playing a prominent role in "Salaar".



During a recent interview, Prithviraj Sukumaran said that Salaar Vs Dunki is a clash everyone should celebrate as both films are completely opposite to each other, headlined by two of the biggest stars in the country with the biggest of the directors, and on top of that, both the movies are coming during a big festive season like Christmas.

"I am not quite sure about the promotional plans yet. The makers will let us know in November how they intend to roll out the film. I am in touch with Prashanth Neel, the director. But the fact that we are releasing alongside films by Rajkumar Hirani and Shah Rukh Khan leaves everything else aside; as a film lover, I absolutely love it!" (via Pinkvilla).

The actor further said that he is excited about both the movies for various reasons and promises to watch both of them. "I am so looking forward to it. When was the last time we had two big films during the holidays? What better year than 2023 to celebrate Indian cinema like this", he added.
