Director Ayan Mukerji Begins Filming of Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR's 'War 2' In Spain?

Mumbai, October 18 - The highly-awaited spy action thriller War 2 has reportedly begun filming in the Municipality in Spain, Salamanca. Directed by Ayan Mukerji, the movie stars Hrithik Roshan along with Telugu superstar Jr. NTR who marks his Bollywood debut with this.

The leaked footage from the set of the film shows Ayan Mukerji with his team. According to reports, the filmmaker filmed a car chase sequence yesterday (October 17) without the lead cast who is expected to join the shoot soon. However, the official confirmation regarding the shoot is yet to be made.



Yash Raj Films hasn't made the announcement about Jr. NTR's inclusion in the Spy Universe yet official, but multiple reliable sources have confirmed his big debut. Hrithik returns to reprise his role from the first movie as RAW agent Kabir. Kiara Advani is said to be playing one of the female leads, marking her YRF's Spy Universe debut.

"War 2" will reportedly follow the events of Salman Khan-fronted "Tiger 3" which is scheduled to release on November 12 this year. "War 2" will be the first true blue Pan India film in Spy Universe with the inclusion of Jr. NTR. It will be released in January 2025 in multiple languages.
