Box Office: Jawan Becomes First Film To Hit 550 Crores Net In Hindi; Tops 600 Crores Net In All Version
Mumbai, October 2 - The record-breaking run of superstar Shah Rukh Khan's mega-blockbuster Jawan has unlocked a couple of new box office territories for the Bollywood film industry. The movie is breaking records for fun and still, there is no sign of slowing down anytime soon.## Directed by Atlee Kumar, "Jawan" has become the first film ever to top 550 crores net collection in Hindi as well as in a single language in India. The action thriller crossed this magical figure on its 26th day for 554.44 crores net. The second biggest movie in the single language is Sunny Deol's "Gadar 2: The Katha Continues" with around 525 crores net. ## The film keeping the dream alive to top 600 crores net collection in Hindi, however, it will need to hold extremely well in the coming days to conquer this yet untouched box office mark. The coming weekend will determine whether it will reach the 600 crores mark as there are a couple of new films, including Akshay Kumar's "Mission Raniganj" will be released this Friday. ## While 600 crores box office mark in Hindi is still a long way, "Jawan" has topped this figure in all versions, including Tamil and Telugu, and becomes the first Bollywood movie ever to do so. The movie breached this mark, yesterday, on its 25th day as its total net collection stands at around 605 crores which includes 57 crores net in Tamil and Telugu versions.## Produced by Red Chillies Entertainment, "Jawan" is also nearing 1100 crores at the worldwide box office. It grossed 1084 crores through the 4th Sunday (25th day) and is likely to cross the 1100 crores gross mark by tomorrow.
