'Animal' Set To Become Next Bollywood 500+ Crore Net Grosser

Mumbai, December 4 - After finishing the first weekend as the number one movie in the world, Ranbir Kapoor-led Animal is heading for a monstrous first Monday collection of at least 35 crores net with a drop under 50% from Sunday, which is a nothing short of unreal hold.
The remarkable hold on the first working day has almost locked the coveted 500 crores net milestone for the film which is another golden feather to the already remarkable year for the Indian film industry, particularly for Bollywood which has multiple big blockbusters in 2023.
It is yet to be seen where the first Monday collection ends but the early trends indicate 35+ crores net and might go towards 40 crores. The full first week is heading towards finishing over 315+ crores net in all versions which will not only make it to finish in the top three biggest first weeks but will also put the movie in poll position to enter the 500 crores net club.
The second weekend will hold the key for the film in its persuade to become the next 500 crores grosser, however, with no competition from new releases, it is expected to have another huge weekend of 80+ crores net. Animal will have one more open week before Dunki and Salaar arrive during the Christmas weekend and that should be enough for it to breach the milestone of 500 crores net.
