Mumbai, September 26 - Bollywood's lady superstar Alia Bhatt has joined hands with "Mard Ko Dard Nahi Hota" director Vasan Bala for the first time. The movie is produced by Karan Johar's Dharma Productions with Alia's Eternal Sunshine Productions. ## On Tuesday (September 26), the makers officially announced the movie with the first look title motion poster. The movie, which is touted to be an action-thriller, has been titled Jigra. The motion poster begins with a quote by GK Chesterton flashing on the screen, which reads, "The paradox of courage is that one must be a little careless of life in order to keep it".## The motion poster shows Alia Bhatt with a bag on her shoulder as she is standing in the streets. A voice-over by Alia is played in the background with the actress ensuring to protect what seems to be her younger sibling. Mumbai, September 26 - Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan becomes the first Indian actor to have two films in the 1000 crores club at the worldwide box office as his latest mega-blockbuster Jawan achieved this milestone in the record time for a Bollywood title.## Directed by Atlee Kumar, "Jawan" has broken many records in its run so far, and one of the biggest of them is being the highest-grossing Indian movie of all time in the GCC Countries. It has outgrossed SRK's own movie "Pathaan", which was released earlier this year, to become the number 1 Indian title in the Gulf.## "Jawan" has scored $14.15+ million so far in 19 days, crossing "Pathaan's" $14.10 million lifetime collection. SS Rajamouli's "Baahubali 2 The Conclusion" is the third Highest-grossing Indian movie in the Gulf with $10.30 million, followed by Salman Khan's "Bajrangi Bhaijaan" and Aamir Khan's "Dangal" at number 4 and 5 with $9.45 million and $8.80 million, respectively.## Meanwhile, "Jawan" is nearing crossing "RRR" to become the highest-grossing Indian film at the North American box office. It has grossed $13.90 million through 3rd weekend in the US, just $1.2 million short of SS Rajamouli's directorial movie which scored $15.10 million last year.## The action thriller film, produced by Red Chillies Entertainment, has earned 1010+ crores at the worldwide box office in 19 days. It has beaten the record of Sunny Deol's Gadar 2: The Katha Continues which took 24 days to reach the milestone a few weeks ago.## "Jawan", directed by Atlee Kumar, hit the landmark box office figure today, on its 18th day. It also becomes only the third outright Bollywood movie, and 4th overall to hit 500 crores net collection in Hindi. All three Bollywood movies to reach this figure were released in 2023 only, and this includes SRK's "Pathaan" and "Gadar 2". SS Rajamouli's "Baahubali 2" was the first and only non-Bollywood movie to top 500 crores net in the Hindi language.## Meanwhile, in another box office milestone, "Jawan" has topped 1000 crores gross worldwide on its 18th day, becoming the fastest Bollywood movie ever to do the same. It has beaten SRK's personal record with "Pathaan" (27 days) to hit the milestone of 1000 crores worldwide gross collection.## "Jawan" is the 3rd Bollywood movie 6th overall India film to cross 1000 crores globally. With this movie, Atlee has also become the first Tamil director to deliver a 1000-crore grosser and this huge success is making noise outside India as well.## During a recent interview with Film Companion, Atlee revealed that he got calls from Hollywood and even a few offers to work there if he wished to. The filmmaker said that one of the scenes in the movie, where Shah Rukh Khan's Vikram Rathore lighting a cigar with the sparks generated during an action-packed scene, has attracted the attention of Hollywood artists.## "People who worked on our film were from Hollywood. Action director Spiro Razatos worked with us. So, Spiro and other great directors and technicians from Hollywood were at the same screening of Jawan. And Spiro said I have done action in this film. So, they asked who had done that scene where SRK was engulfed in flames. He said, 'It was the director's vision and he executed it".## He added that, "They immediately connected with me and told me, 'If you want to work in Hollywood, let us know', so it isn't a taste which is very desi. Mumbai, September 21 - Superstar Shah Rukh Khan's action thriller Jawan completes two weeks with a historic collection at the domestic as well as overseas box office. The movie has a very good second week which confirms that "Jawan" will become the biggest Bollywood movie of all time domestically in the next few days.## Directed by Atlee Kumar, "Jawan" scored a drop of around 65% for approximately 137 crores net in all versions in its second week as compared to the first 8-day extended week at the domestic box office. The drop is reasonable considering the fact that the first itself was huge at approximately 390 crores net.## The total collection of "Jawan" has reached approximately 527 crores net in 15 days, and with this, it has become the second-highest net collection-scoring Bollywood movie by surpassing "Gadar 2" which is also currently playing in theatres. "Jawan" will cross SRK's "Pathaan" this weekend and will become the biggest Bollywood movie.## The Hindi collection of the film is also getting closer to 500 crores net, after finishing two weeks at 474 crores.
