Mumbai, September 21 - Superstar Shah Rukh Khan's mega-blockbuster Jawan continues to spread joy at the box office as it is fast heading towards 1000 crores gross collection worldwide. The movie has completed two weeks (14 days) with a worldwide collection of over 922 crores.## Directed by Atlee Kumar, "Jawan" has become the 6th highest-grossing Indian movie of all time globally. On its 14th day, it surpassed the lifetime total of "Bajrangi Bhaijaan" (922 crores), and "Secret Superstar" (913 crores) to claim the 6th spot, behind Shah Rukh Khan's "Pathaan" (1055 crores). ## "Jawan" has also crossed the 300 crores mark overseas, which makes it the 9th Indian and 7th Bollywood movie to do so. Excluding China, which has been a non-traditional overseas market for Indian movies, "Jawan" is the 4th highest-grossing Indian and 2nd biggest Bollywood movie, behind "Pathaan" (397.50 crores), at the international box office.## The action thriller, produced by Red Chillies Entertainment, will cross "PK" (303 crores) today and "RRR" (314 crores) in the next couple of weeks to become the 7th biggest Indian movie overseas (with China). Mumbai, September 20 - Thalapathy Vijay's gangster drama Leo is one of the most-anticipated films. Directed by Atlee Kumar, the movie is scheduled to release on October 19 in multiple languages, including Hindi.## According to the latest reports, "Leo" might not be released in the national multiplex chains in the Hindi language. It is said that PVR, INOX, and Cinepolis are not ready to screen the movie without an 8-week theatrical window in the Hindi version.## It has been seen that most of the South Indian movies are made available on OTT after 4 weeks of the theatrical release. Trade is super confident about the blockbuster combo of the superstar Prabhas and director Prashanth Neel ("KGF" franchise) to bring the audiences to theatres in large numbers.## As reported earlier, the pre-release theatrical business and non-theatrical rights of "Salaar" are being locked, and in this process, the makers have reportedly locked the theatrical business of the movie in North America.## According to reliable reports, "Salaar" rights have been sold at 36 crores in North America, which is an all-time second-highest for a Telugu movie, after SS Rajamouli's "RRR" (40 crores). The overall domestic box office collection of the movie has also crossed 600 crores mark as I type this.## The action thriller film is truly having a sensational box office run in South India, led by two Telugu states (AP/TG) where the movie has crossed 50 crores gross mark with today's collection. This makes "Elemental" the most-watched movie premiere of the year on the streamer and among the top 10 movie premieres Disney has ever had. ## Disney defines a view as total stream time divided by runtime, which means "Elemental" scored approximately 2.87 billion viewing minutes in its first five days of availability on Disney+. It has also become the most-viewed animated movie premiere since Disney and Pixar's "Turning Red" was released in March 2022.## Earlier, "Elemental" witnessed a box office rebound after the low opening at the domestic (North America) as well as the worldwide box office. Apart from being the biggest grossers of the year, "Pathaan" and "Jawan" have put SRK in a league of his own.## Directed by Siddharth Anand and produced by Yash Raj Films, "Pathaan" was released in January this year and went on to score 543 crores net collection, including 524+ crores in the Hindi language. It is currently the highest-grossing movie in Hindi as well as in a single language in terms of net collection.## "Jawan", which is currently playing in theatres, is directed by Tamil director Atlee Kumar and just like "Pathaan", the action thriller is running riot at the box office.
