Box Office: Fukrey 3 Four Weeks Collection; To Remain Under 100 Crores Net Mark
Mumbai, October 27 - Excel Entertainment's comedy entertainer Fukrey 3 will fall short of the 100 crores net box office mark after the promising start. However, the movie has done its job and performed much better than what the trade was expecting before the release. ## Directed by Mrigdeep Singh Lamba, the third instalment of the hit franchise has completed 4 weeks in theatres since its release on September 28. The movie has scored approximately 95.25 crores net and will likely score another 50 lakhs more to finish around 96 crores final net collection.## "Fukrey 3" opened to a decent collection before putting in a good opening week of 66 crores. At that time, it looked like it would reach 100 crore net but to competition with new releases and the mixed word of mouth, the movie failed to carry the same momentum into the next weeks. ## Despite not being able to enter the coveted 100 crores net club, "Fukrey 3" is a box office hit and maintains the 100% success ratio of the franchise. It also emerged as the highest net-grosser movie of the franchise, topping its predecessor "Fukrey Returns" which minted approximately 80 crores net. ## At the worldwide box office, the movie has earned approximately 127 crores gross, including an estimated 14.50 crores overseas collection.
