Mumbai, November 6 - Actor Ayushmann Khurrana, after a few flops over the last couple of years, finally scored a well-deserved box office success in the form of Dream Girl 2. Directed by Raaj Shaandilyaa, the comedy-drama is the spiritual sequel to the 2019 film "Dream Girl". ## "Dream Girl 2" was released on October 25 this year amid some expectations of being the successor of a well-received critical and commercial film. There were still some doubts over the potential of the movie given the fact that Ayushmann was coming after 6 non-hits, plus, it released amid the box office juggernaut of "Gadar 2" and "OMG 2". ## Produced by Balaji Motion Pictures, "Dream Girl 2" received mixed to positive reception from critics and audiences but the strong franchise value helped it to score the biggest opening for Ayushmann with 10.69 crores net. Chennai, November 4 - Thalapathy Vijay's mega-hit Leo becomes the second film to hit 200 crores gross collection at the Tamil Nadu box office, after Mani Ratnam's "Ponniyin Selvan - 1" last year. ## Lokesh Kanagaraj's directorial movie grossed approximately 198.60 crores until yesterday (16 days) and with today's collection, it will go past the 200 crores mark. Superstar Rajinikanth's "Jailer" is the third highest-grossing movie in the state with over 189 crores. ## "Leo" has been on a dream run since its debut on October 19. The movie has slowed down over the last few days but still has enough gas in it to keep going. The film is now targeting history in Tamil Nadu of becoming the biggest-grosser by crossing "PS-1's" 213 crores gross. ## Produced by Seven Screen Studio, "Leo" has grossed approximately 561 crores at the worldwide box office in 16 days. Yash Raj Films Collaborates With PVR-Inox To Screen Spy Universe Films Before 'Tiger 3'

Mumbai, November 1 - Yash Raj Films has collaborated with PVR-Inox to celebrate the Spy Universe festival ahead of the release of Salman Khan-fronted "Tiger 3". ## YRF's Spy Universe is one of the most loved film franchises in India and the upcoming "Tiger 3" is the 5th film in the series so far. Directed by Maneesh Sharma, the third Tiger movie follows the events of "Tiger Zinda Hai", "War", and "Pathaan" and is touted to be the biggest film in the Spy Universe yet. ## The studio has partnered with PVR-Inox to screen the previous film in the series in what is termed as YRF Spy Universe Film Festival. The aforementioned films along with "Ek Tha Tiger" will be screened from November 3rd to November 5th in the select properties of PVR-Inox across the country. ## As said, Spy Universe has set new standards for the Indian cinema.
