Hyderabad, October 17 - Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja's period action drama film Tiger Nageswara Rao is hitting worldwide theatres on October 20 in multiple languages, including Hindi. Directed by Vamsee, TNR is easily the biggest film in Ravi Teja's career in terms of scale and budget, leading to huge expectations in trade.## "Tiger Nageswara Rao" worldwide theatrical business has been locked at the biggest ever for the actor. TNR's pre-release theatrical business has been valued at approximately 37 crores worldwide, including 31 crores for the two Telugu states (Andhra Pradesh and Telangana). ## The AP/TG theatrical business of 31 crores of TNR, includes approximately 8.50 crores for the Nizam area and 5.50 crores for Ceded. The entire Andhra rights are valued at 17 crores while the rest of India business is done at 4 crores. Chennai, October 16 - The social media is buzzing after director Lokesh Kanagaraj confirmed his maiden collaboration with superstar Prabhas recently. There were no further details provided by the filmmaker other than confirming this blockbuster film, and this led to many speculations regarding the timeline of the movie. ## Lokesh Kanagaraj has been focussing on his ambitious cinematic universe (LCU), which started with Karthi's "Kaithi", followed by Kamal Haasan's "Vikram" and next is Thalapathy Vijay's "Leo", scheduled to release on October 19, 2023. Chennai, October 16 - Thalapathy Vijay's mega-stardom and his second collaboration with blockbuster director Lokesh Kanagaraj in the form of Leo is on full display at the worldwide box office as far as the advance bookings are concerned. ## Produced by Seven Screen Studio, "Leo" is gearing up to hit the big screens on October 19 and it is set to become the biggest opening day grosser ever for a Tamil title. The film's advance booking was opened a few weeks back in some of the international markets while the same was opened yesterday (October 15) morning in India, and the response is exceptional. ## "Leo", within the first 24 hours, sold over 800K tickets in India for the opening day, and at the time of writing this piece, the pre-sales of the movie had crossed 1 million tickets. Mumbai, October 14 - The Multiplex Association Of India (MAI) said in a statement that National Cinema Day 2023 attracted an estimated 6+ million (60+ lakh) footfalls at the Indian box office on October 13. The second NCD received a big thumbs-up from moviegoers on over 4000 screens nationwide. ## The National Cinema Day 2022 scored 6.5 million (65 lakh) footfalls and was a massive success after the COVID-19 pandemic. Last year, the ticket prices were kept as low as Rs. 75 for NCD while this year the prices were increased to Rs. 99 per ticket for this particular day.## The participating theatre chains on NCD 2023, included PVRINOX, Cinepolis, Miraj, Mukta A2, Movie Time, Wave, M2K, MovieMax, Rajhans, NY Cinemas, and Delite, among many others which offered movie ticket prices for Rs. 99 for the whole day and for any movie.## The biggest gainers on NCD 2023 were Shah Rukh Khan's mega-blockbuster "Jawan", Akshay Kumar's "Mission Raniganj", Excel Entertainment's comic caper "Fukrey 3", Telugu comedy "Mad", and Mammootty's "Kannur Squad", among others. Mumbai, October 14 - The National Cinema Day 2023 witnessed a very good response as a large number of audiences thronged to cinemas to watch the movies at a price as low as Rs. 99 per ticket. The major running films scored a big jump in footfalls as well as in collection. ## Bollywood particularly has a very good outing today as almost all the films scored a big jump, including the comic caper "Fukrey 3", Akshay Kumar's "Mission Raniganj", and Shah Rukh Khan's "Jawan". The combined collection of these three films scored an estimated 15+ crores net which is fantastic.## "Fukrey 3" has its 16th day at the box office today, and thanks to NCD, it scored a jump of over 400% for an estimated 5.25 crores net collection. This takes its total collection to over 86.50 crores net, keeping the movie in the race to top 100 crores net lifetime collection.## Akshay Kumar's "Mission Raniganj", which has otherwise been a dismal show so far, got the full use of NCD 2023 and scored an estimated 5 crores net on its 8th day/second Friday, jumping around 300% from yesterday's collection. This pushes to total collection to around 23.50 crores net in 8 days which is still a low total.## The action thriller "Jawan" has truly been a sensational blockbuster. Today is the movie's 6th Friday/37th day, and thanks to NCD, it jumped over 550% for an estimated 5 crores net collection, pushing the total collection to around 632.50 crores net in 37 days.## It will be interesting to see if the makers opt for similar ticket prices going forward as it could hugely benefit the overall collection, especially to "Mission Raniganj" which is scoring much with normal prices. ## Stay tuned...
