Mumbai, October 2 - Telugu superstar Jr. NTR's action drama Devara: Part 1 is heading towards emerging as a big success at the box office and has crossed 300 crores gross collection worldwide, becoming the second movie of the actor to do so after RRR. ## Directed by Koratala Siva, Devara: Part 1 has grossed approximately 286 crores at the worldwide box office through the first Tuesday (5 days). The biz has exploded domestically today, on the first Wednesday due to the Gandhi Jayanti national holiday, crossing 300 crores gross as I type this. ## Devara is the second film of Jr. NTR to breach the milestone of 300 crores gross after SS Rajamouli's directorial RRR, co-starring Ram Charan. As said, the latest blockbuster is the first solo film of Jr. NTR to gross 300 crores globally, emerging as a big success. ## It is the second Telugu movie after Kalki 2898 AD, and 5th Indian title of 2024 to enter the 300 crores gross club at the global box office. Hyderabad, October 1 - After a decent hold on its first Monday, superstar Jr. NTR's action drama Devara: Part 1 is having a fantastic hold on Tuesday as tomorrow's holiday of Gandhi Jayanti gives the boost to the movie in the evening and night shows. ## It is common for the movies to witness a drop during the weekdays, especially when word of mouth is mixed. But due to the national holiday benefit tomorrow, Devara witnessing a rock solid hold as early estimates suggest the collection in the range of 8-9 crores gross in Telugu states with a minor jump over Monday's collection. ## Apart from AP-TG, the other Southern states are also witnessing a stronghold with a minor jump as collections are expected to be in the range of 2.50+ crores gross in Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, and Kerala on Tuesday. The movie has been a box office success as one of the highest-grossing Tamil films with approximately 450 crores gross collection. ## Like most Tamil films, The GOAT has a 4-week theatrical window, which has kept them without multiplex release in Hindi versions. As per the latest update, the movie will start streaming on Netflix from October 3 in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Hindi, and Kannada, languages.## The GOAT is directed by Venkat Prabhu and produced by AGS Entertainment. In Karnataka, the movie is expected to gross in the range of 5.50-6 crore while in Tamil Nadu and Kerala, around 2.50 crore gross is expected. ## It was once again the Hindi belt which witnessed a jump as word of mouth continued to spread in mass centres. It has crossed Leo's collection on its 25th day (4th Sunday). ## On its 4th Thursday (22nd day), The GOAT outgrossed Ponniyin Selvan - Part 1's 213 crores gross collection in the state. It has been a sensational blockbuster in Tamil Nadu as well as the overseas box office despite the mixed reviews. ## The AGS Entertainment production has grossed 448 crores at the worldwide box office, including approximately 292.25 crores in India and 155.75 crores overseas through 4th Saturday (24 days). Hyderabad, September 28 - After the sensational opening day, Jr. NTR-fronted action drama Devara: Part 1 scored a good hold on its first Saturday with a drop of around 50% which is expected for a South Indian movie with massive opening. ## On its second day, Devara is estimated to gross 26-27+ crores in Telugu states while 6-7 crore gross is expected in Karnataka and 2.50-3 crores is from Tamil Nadu and Kerala. Amid the expected drop in South Indian states, the North India belt witnessed a jump as Devara is estimated to gross in the range of 11-12 crores in this region. ## The Hindi version of the movie is turning out to be a surprise box office success. The movie is directed by Kelly Marcel and is a part of Sony's Spider-Man universe. ## With under a month to go before the release, Venom: The Last Dance is tracking to be the biggest opener in the franchise.
