The trailers of both movies have been released and they generated historic viewership. ## The Singham Again trailer, which was launched on October 7, scored a massive 138 million views in the first 24 hours across social media platforms, and now, the Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 trailer has broken this record to become the most-watched Hindi trailer of all time in the first 24 hours. ## T-Series announced on social media that the BB3 trailer, which was launched on October 9, generated 155+ million views across social media platforms. On the T-Series YouTube channel, the trailer scored 46 million views, making it the 6th most Hindi trailer ever in the first 24 hours. ## The Singham Again trailer had recorded over 50 million views on YouTube across 2 channels but BB3 won the race on the other platforms. Pushpa 2 Release Preponed By A Day

Hyderabad, October 10 - The hugely-anticipated Pan India action drama film Pushpa 2 - The Rule, starring superstar Allu Arjun, is set to arrive sooner than expected as the makers have reportedly preponed the film by a day. ## Directed by Sukumar, Pushpa 2 was announced to hit the big screens on December 6 in multiple languages and as per the latest update, it will now be released a day early on December 5 this year. Hyderabad, October 9 - Following the huge success of RRR, maverick filmmaker SS Rajamouli's next film is with superstar Mahesh Babu. Tentatively titled SSMB 29, the movie is touted to be a globe-trotting with the king of things the team has planned for this one. ## The movie has been in the pre-production for some time and the latest development is that it will start rolling in January 2025. Award-winning writer Vijayendra Prasad, who has written all the films directed by Rajamouli and also is his father, said in a recent 'Master Class' session that SSMB 29 shoot will commence in Jan 2025. ## It is an adventure movie set against the backdrop of the Amazon rainforest. Vijayendra Prasad has written the script and has worked on the same for nearly two years. Christopher Nolan Confirms His Next Film For 2026 Release

Los Angeles, October 9 - After the box office blockbuster Oppenheimer, maverick filmmaker Christopher Nolan has finalised his next film which will be funded by Universal Pictures.## According to Deadline, Nolan's next will be headlined by Matt Damon and this will mark his third movie with the blockbuster filmmaker after Interstellar (2014) and Oppenheimer (2023). Chennai, October 9 - Superstar Rajinikanth made a grand comeback last year with the mega-blockbuster success of Jailer, directed by Nelson Dilipkumar. The movie made over 600 crores gross worldwide and was one of the highest-grossing Indian titles of the year. ## Rajinikanth has now teamed up with Jai Bhim director TJ Gnanavel for an action drama Vettaiyan which is scheduled to hit the big screens on October 10, during Dussehra weekend. The movie carries a decent buzz among the fans and pre-sales are good for the opening day in Tamil Nadu and overseas. ## Meanwhile, Vettaiyan has managed to generate good pre-release theatrical business. In the home state, Tamil Nadu, the movie's theatrical business is valued at 73 crore, according to T2BLive. In Telugu states (Andhra Pradesh and Telangana), the business is locked at 17 crores while the rest of India theatrical business is valued at 25 crores. ## Apart from the domestic region, the overseas business of Vettaiyan is locked at 45 crores, for the total worldwide business at 160 crores. Hyderabad, October 9 - One of the biggest Indian blockbusters of the year, Pan India superstar Prabhas-fronted sci-fi action drama Kalki 2898 AD is gearing up for its release in Japan and other international territories with Russia and China in the consideration. ## According to Variety, Nag Ashwin directed Kalki 2898 AD will be released in Japanese cinemas in early 2025 through Twin, the distribution company headed by industry veteran Kabata Keizo. The studio previously released SS Rajamouli's directorial RRR which is currently the highest-grossing Indian title in Japan. ## Prabhas is a popular Indian star in Japan. His Baahubali 2 and Saaho are among the highest-grossing Indian titles in the anime country. If Kalki 2898 AD gets a positive reception, it can repeat the success of those movies. ## Apart from Japan, Kalki is also set for a Russian release, with a dubbed version expected to hit theatres in the coming months. It has been an unstoppable force so far and still has enough gas left to sail through for a few more days. ## In its 8th weekend, the Maddock Films production scored approximately 2.65 crores net which is already the biggest 8th week collection ever in Hindi. The previous biggest 8th-week collection belonged to Shah Rukh Khan-fronted Pathaan which minted approximately 1.70 crores net collection. ## After its 8th weekend (53 days), Stress 2's total collection stands at approximately 594.60 crores net (709.25 crores gross). It is quite remarkable that the movie is still collecting over 1 crore net daily collection despite being in the 8th week. ## In the history of Indian cinema, no other film has earned more than Stree 2 in a single language at the domestic box office and this Amar Kaushik's directorial is now eyeing a rare historic finish by breaching the 600 crores net club. ## The movie still needs a little over 5 crore net collection to enter the next milestone club. Los Angeles, October 7 - Warner Bros. Pictures' high-profile sequel Joker: Folie à Deux bombed at the domestic (North America) box office with a shocking $40 million opening weekend. This is less than half of what the first movie grossed in the first weekend ($96 million) in 2019. ## Directed by Todd Phillips, Joker 2 is having terrible reviews all around from critics as well as audiences. It is the first comic book movie in history to score 'D' CinemaScore while Rotten Tomatoes score is also around just 30% for both, critics and audiences. ## While the domestic opening of the film is a disaster with a rebound unlikely, Joker 2 has a respectable overseas start in the projected range. At the international box office, the Joaquin Phoenix/Lady Gaga-starrer grossed $81 million from 70 markets in the 6-day opening weekend. ## The UK was the biggest international market for the sequel with an $8 million debut, followed by Germany ($6.9 million), Italy ($5.6 million), Mexico ($5.5 million) and France ($5 million). In India, the movie remained poor with approximately $1.65 million (14 crores gross) after a 5-day weekend.## The worldwide opening of Joker 2 is $121 million which is poor. Joker in 2019 scored a worldwide opening of $247 million, leading its way to a $1+ billion finish. Box Office: 'Devara - Part 1' Second Sunday (Day 10) Early Estimates

Hyderabad, October 6 - Superstar Jr. NTR's action drama Devara: Part 1 has a fantastic second Sunday at the domestic box office as it crossed the double-digit collection with a good jump of around 30% from Saturday, completing a decent second weekend. ## As per the early estimates, Devara is expected to gross 8-9 crores collection in Telugu states (Andhra Pradesh and Telangana) with a jump of over 30%. In Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, and Kerala, the movie is estimated to gross in the range of 2 crore with the majority of collections coming from Karnataka with good hold. ## Apart from the South Indian states, the Hindi belt continues to bring good collections for Devara. On its second Sunday, the gross collection of the movie is expected to be 4.25+ crores in the North India region while the Hindi-language collection is estimated to be 3.75-4 crores net. ## Overall, Devara is expected to gross in the range of 14-15 crores (12-13 crore net) on its second Sunday (10th day), per estimates. This takes its total domestic collection to 287+ crores (243 crores net) in 10 days. The Hindi net collection has also crossed the 50 crores mark at around 52.75 crores so far. ## Devara has a decent second weekend of around 32 crores gross in India as it continues to sail through despite the mixed reception. It is expected to do well going forward as the holiday season approaches.
