Box Office: 'Pushpa 2' Storms Past 1000 Crore Collection Worldwide; Fastest Indian Film To Do So

Hyderabad, December 11 - Pushpa Raj didn't bow down and came back to wear the biggest box office crown.

Allu Arjun's biggest box office bet, Pushpa 2 - The Rule has stormed past 1000 crores gross collection at the worldwide box office at an unthinkable pace to re-write history. The movie achieved this milestone in just 7 days, becoming the fastest Indian title to do so.



Directed by Sukumar, the box office carnage of Pushpa 2 began with a record-breaking opening of over 275 crores gross worldwide, and this juggernaut remained unchallenged throughout the weekend and beyond to go past Rs. 10 billion before the extended first-week ends.

Pushpa 2 scored approximately 950 crores gross, including around 770 crores gross in India in the first 6 days. It has topped 1000 crores gross milestone on its 7th day where the domestic gross is expected to be 815+ crores while overseas collection is around 190 crores gross.

As said, it is the fastest Indian film to gross 1000 crores worldwide collection, beating SS Rajamouli's epic all-time blockbuster Baahubali 2 - The Conclusion which took 10/11 days to reach this landmark figure and it was the second Indian movie after Aamir Khan's Dangal to get there.

Pushpa 2 is the 8th Indian film and 4th Telugu title after Baahubali 2, RRR, and Kalki 2898 AD to earn 1000 crores gross or more at the global box office. Depending on how it performs in the coming days, Pushpa 2 might challenge BB2 which is the second highest-grossing Indian film with around 1790 crores gross.
