Box Office: 'Pushpa 2' Beats 'Pathaan' To Score Biggest First Week In Hindi

Mumbai, December 11 - Superstar Shah Rukh Khan's nearly 2 year-long opening week record at the Hindi box office has been broken by Allu Arjun's action drama Pushpa 2 - The Rule in just 6 days. It is tracking to break every record in the dubbed version to become the all-time biggest grosser.

Pathaan, directed by Sidharth Anand, was released in January last year and scored a mammoth 351 crores net collection in its 9-day extended first week. Pushpa 2 has beaten this record comfortably as its total collection stands at around 370 crores net after just 6 days.



Directed by Sukumar, Pushpa 2 will become the first movie to score 400 crores net collection or more at the Hindi box office in the first week. With current trend and pace, it looks like the movie will enter the 500 crores net club by the second weekend only, which is unbelievably fastest to achieve the feat.
