Box Office: Jr. NTR's 'Devara: Part 1' Tops 400 Crore Worldwide Gross
Hyderabad, October 14 - Telugu superstar Jr. NTR's action drama Devara: Part 1 defied mixed reviews to emerge as a big success at the worldwide box office, surpassing 400 crore gross collection.## Directed by Koratala Siva, the movie has minted approximately 401 crores which includes 324 crores gross at the domestic box office and an estimated 77 crores overseas through the third weekend (17 days). With this, it has become the second Telugu movie and the fourth Indian title of 2024 to achieve the feat. ## Devara is the second film of Jr. NTR to top 400 crores worldwide gross after RRR, also starring Ram Charan. While the multiple factors worked in the favor of RRR, the latest box office hit has purely been carried by the stardom of Jr. NTR. ## Overall, Devara: Part 1 is the 7th Telugu movie of all time to achieve the milestone of 400 crores worldwide gross, after Saaho, Baahubali: The Beginning, Salaar: Ceasefire, Kalki 2898 AD, RRR, and Baahubali 2. BB2 remains the highest Telugu grosser and second-highest Indian movie with 1790 crores gross.## For director Koratala Siva, Devara proved to be a major comeback after a huge setback with Chiranjeevi and Ram Charan's Acharya.
