Ram Charan To Team Up With KGF Director Prashanth Neel For His Next!

Hyderabad, October 15 - Telugu star Ram Charan is joining the elite league of actors who are teaming up with the top filmmakers of the country. On the morning of Dussehra (October 15), the Yavudu actor announced his collaboration with Jersey fame Gowtam Tinnanuri for his next film, tentatively titled RC16 (i.e. 16th film of the actor). ## And now, Ram Charan has hinted about his one more project and that too with KGF and Salaar director Prashanth Neel. It will be his first collaboration with the acclaimed director and RRR producer DVV Danayya under his banner DVV Entertainment will be bankrolling the film, tentatively titled RC17. ## Ram Charan hosted Neel and DVV at his home for dinner and shared pictures with the duo along with his father megastar Chiranjeevi. The movie reunites Nani with actress Keerthy Suresh for the first time after Nenu Local (2017). ## On the occasion of Dussehra (October 15), the makers released the first look glimpse of Nani and Keerthy Suresh along with the title announcement. The glimpse shows the rustic getups of Nani and Keerthy Suresh and it looks very promising. Dasara will portray Nani in a never-seen-before role as shown in the glimpse. ## According to reports, Nani plays a rural guy in this intense action drama set in Telangana. The actor's dialogue delivery is also promising a mass-oriented film. He seems to have mastered Telangana slang as he delivered the dialogues with ease. Mumbai, October 15 - On the auspicious occasion of Dussehra, two of the most anticipated Hindi remakes of the Tamil blockbuster movies, "Vikram Vedha" and "Thadam" have started filming. Both "Vikram Vedha" and "Thadam", went through some big changes before makers finally took the films on floors on October 15. ## Vikram Vedha is a gangster cop drama film that stars Hrithik Roshan and Saif Ali Khan in the lead roles along with Rohit Saraf and Radhika Apte. Hrithik steps in the shoes of Vijay Sethupathi from the original film and plays a gangster while Saif Ali Khan reprises R Madhavan's role of a cop. Pushkar – Gayatri (a husband-wife duo), who helmed the original Vikram Vedha, are also on board to direct the Hindi version as well. ## The film draws from the ancient lore of Vikram-Betaal, where a wily gangster manages to escape every time a determined cop nabs him, by narrating a new story drawn from his own life. The actor has teamed up with producer Anand L Rai once again for a film based on the life of the legendary officer of the Gorkha regiment of the Indian Army, Major General Ian Cardozo. ## Akshay will portray Ian Cardozo, who was awarded Ati Vishisht Seva Medal (SVSM) and Sena Medal (SM) for his service to the Indian army. Major Ian Cardozo was the first war-disabled officer of the Indian Army to command a battalion and a brigade. Titled "Gorkha", the movie will be directed by the National award-winning director Sanjay PS Chauhan. Sanjay Chauhan has two films to his name - Lahore (2010), Bahattar Hoorain (2019).## Chauhan won the National award for direction for Bahattar Hoorain and for the best debut film for Lahore. It will be his first collaboration with Akshay and Anand L Rai, who will be producing the film in association with Himanshu Sharma. The "Dangal" director launched the book in Mumbai on Wednesday (October 14) where he hints that he might adapt it for a feature film, "if it's something very exciting".## When asked if he would like to make a movie out of the book he had just released, he said, "It is a tough question. I think I will be very honest here; I would want to finish reading the book because for me entire story arch is really important. The end has got me more intrigued. Once I finish the book and if it is something very exciting as a story, I'd say why not".## Tiwari praised the author for his narrative, which he said was easy for readers to follow. "Satyam has taken mythology and put it in a slightly fictional place, but the book still has a lot of mythological characters who exist in our literature, such as our gods and goddesses. He has integrated both elements nicely. The place where the story is taking place is fictional, but the characters are familiar, so there is a sense of excitement and familiarity as well", he added. ## Meanwhile, the epic "Ramayana" has been in development for a long time now and some of the Oscar-winning team of artists is working on the film. It will jointly be directed by Nitesh Tiwari and Ravi Udyawar while Madhu Mantena, Allu Arvind, and Namit Malhotra will be producing it. Bangalore, October 14 - The big-ticket Kannada film, Kotigobba 3 starring Kichcha Sudeepa was all set to release worldwide today on October 14. However, the financial issues between the producer and distributors played a spoilsport as the morning shows for the film got canceled.## Reportedly, the film's producer, Soorappa Babu, hasn't paid one of the film's financiers because of which the early morning shows have been canceled. This unfortunate situation left Kichcha's fans in anger as they raised slogans demanding the immediate release of the film and refused to leave theaters.## Now, Kichcha Sudeepa released a statement asking his fans to be patient and not damage the theatres. The actor also apologizes for the negligence from the cornered people and promised that his future films will not see such chaotic releases.
