Shahid Kapoor To Lead T Series & Guilty By Association's 'Bull'

Mumbai, October 21 - It was recently reported that actor Shahid Kapoor would be teaming up with producer Bhushan Kumar again after their blockbuster outing "Kabir Singh". The latest development is that the movie has been titled "Bull", which is set in the 1980s and inspired by events from the life of Brigadier Bulsara.## "Bull" will jointly be produced by Bhushan Kumar's T-Series and Amar Butala and Garima Mehta's Guilty By Association. The in-demand duo of writers, Aseem Arrora and Parveez Shaikh have written the story and screenplay while Aditya Nimbalkar will be making his directorial debut with this film, set to go on floors in early 2022. ## "Bull is a full-blown action film inspired by real events from the life of Brigadier Bulsara", said Shahid Kapoor (via Deadline). "It is a privilege to play a paratrooper who leads his boys through a historic and selfless mission that has now become iconic for its precision and bravado. The opportunity to play a paratrooper is exhilarating and truly an honour". ## Producer Bhushan Kumar, who has a number of big titles in the pipeline, express that he is happy to reunite with Shahid after Kabir Singh and also delighted to join hands with Guilty By Association for the first time.## "I am happy to collaborate with Shahid again after the fantastic performance of Kabir Singh at the box office. This film also marks the beginning of my association with Amar Butala and Garima Mehta and we hope great cinema emerges from our hard work", added Bhushan Kumar.## Amar Butala said, "This film is our homage to the men in uniforms, our soldiers who put the nation’s pride over all else. The film will see Shahid in an exciting new avatar, and I am happy to begin this journey with him and T Series".## Shahid Kapoor is currently filming for his debut web series on Amazon Prime Video. The only actor to have two $100M+ grossing films at the domestic box office during the covid-19 pandemic, the Jungle Cruise star has now bagged Christopher Nolan's next film, Oppenheimer, according to The Hollywood Reporter. ## The biopic of J. Robert Oppenheimer, the theoretical physicists remembered as one of the fathers of the atom bomb, the movie will see Blunt teaming up with Nolan for the first time in her career. She will star alongside Cillian Murphy, who plays the title role in this film, written and directed by Nolan. ## Emily Blunt recently appeared in Paramount Pictures' A Quiet Place Part II and Disney's Jungle Cruise. Both the films grossed over $100 million at the domestic box office, which led Disney to announce the sequel of its adventure movie, which also stars Dwayne Johnson in the lead. ## Universal Pictures will release Nolan's Oppenheimer after recently getting the rights of the film. Nolan's wife, Emma Thomas will produce the film in association with Charles Roven of Atlas Entertainment. ## The movie is based on American Prometheus: The Triumph and Tragedy of J. Robert Oppenheimer by Kai Bird and the late Martin J. Sherwin. Published in 2005, the book won the Pulitzer Prize. Universal has set July 21, 2023, release date for Oppenheimer. The song featuring Akshay Kumar, Ajay Devgn, and Ranveer Singh in their respective roles as Veer Sooryavanshi, Sigham, and Simmba, is high on energy and perfectly sets the mood of movie lovers. ## The revamped version of Akshay Kumar's own song from Khatta Meetha (2010) shows the three actors in the respective getups, doing their signature styles. This development came as a result of not contributing enough to the show. ## While things never get easy in the show, many housemates found breaking Bigg Boss rules, which resulted in punishment by Bigg Boss in which the housemates had to evict any two contestants who they think have made the least contribution to the show. That's when the housemates ended up voting out Donal and Vidhi for not being able to catch hold the grip of the show.## Vidhi Pandya, after coming out from the house, explained the reason which led to her eviction. "See, I am an emotional person and I never did anything for the camera. In fact, I am lazy to think so much about strategies to be in the show and maybe not a great entertainer in terms of dancing or doing fights or getting into arguments or being part of gossip or just for the sake of getting the action. In fact, this is turning out to be negative for him, as not only the audience but housemates also know what actually he is as a person", she added. ## While housemates voted out Vidhi and Donal on the basis of not doing much for the show, Vidhi, however, thinks that there are a couple of housemates who are also not doing much but still are in the show. "Simba Nagpal and Akasa don’t seem like much involved in the game. Of, course I have no personal enmity but as far the game is concerned, Simba is least involved. In fact, he is not performing well in the task", she said. ## "Akasa is also not interacting much with other housemates. She has just good equations and friendship with Pratik. However, filmmaker James Gunn confirmed that his upcoming directorial "Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 3" is unaffected by delays and the movie is still on track for the May 5, 2023 release. ## Meanwhile, a day after Marvel announced the big development, MCU star Chris Pratt confirmed that the "Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 3" has started production. In a video on Twitter by Team Coco, Pratt said, "I'm on the set of Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 3, this is day one". ## However, director James Gunn stated that they haven't yet started filming but they are pretty close to beginning production. When asked about the video by Pratt, James Gunn admitted that the Marvel actor was on the sets of the film and they were rehearsing and doing camera tests and stuff. "There is a world in which he's a villain because, at the end of the day, he should have just sacrificed Vision (to save the universe)".## "He chose one robot's life, albeit a sentient one, over literally the entire universe. There's a sort of anti-hero in that if you want to look at it through that lens. People would say I'm crazy for thinking that way, but there's something connected to the journey of the anti-hero and the hero", she added.## In Avengers: Infinity War, Vision had offered to sacrifice himself and mind stone to keep Thanos away from adding it to his Infinity Gauntlet. Mumbai, October 19 - Actress and entrepreneur Shilpa Shetty and Raj Kundra has filed a defamation case of Rs. 50 crores against actress Sherlyn Chopra, according to a report by India Today. ## Chopra had earlier filed a sexual harassment case against businessman Raj Kundra and recently slapped another case against Shilpa and Raj with the Mumbai Police, accusing the duo of sexually and mentally harassing her. ## In response to Chopra's allegations, the husband-wife duo called her allegations fake, frivolous, and baseless without any evidence and in return, they slapped defamation case for maligning their image. ## "The entire allegations made by Ms. Sherlyn Chopra against Mr. Raj Kundra and Ms. Shilpa Shetty Kundra, are concocted, false, fake, frivolous, baseless, without any evidence, even to Ms. Sherlyn Chopra’s knowledge, and have been made with an ulterior motive to defame and extort money", read the statement issued by Shilpa and Raj, according to India Today. ## Sherlyn Chopra had earlier said that Raj Kundra and his firm's creative director repeatedly followed her to work for the mobile application named 'HotShots'. While there is no official confirmation on the same yet, it is now reported that the movie is slated to go on floors in December this year and Akhtar's production house Excel Entertainment is backing it. ## According to Peepingmoon, the makers have roped in the busy bee Rakul Preet Singh to play the female lead along with South Indian actor Jagapathi Babu, who will mark his Bollywood debut with this as the antagonist. The movie has reportedly been titled Pukar. ## "Ashutosh Gowariker's film with Farhan Akhtar has been titled Pukar. It's a contemporary action film set in a forest and will see Akhtar playing the role of a forest ranger. South sensation Rakul Preet Singh has been roped in to play the female lead in this film.
