Hyderabad, April 15 - After 3 weeks of the historic start by SS Rajamouli's "RRR", the Indian box office exploded again, thanks to the long-awaited and highly anticipated Pan-India biggie, "KGF: Chapter 2". The Yash-fronted action drama film has broken several records at the domestic box office, even though it couldn't go past "RRR" and "Baahubali 2". ## The Prashanth Neel-directed was released on over 10000 screens worldwide, including approx. 7000 screens in India. The craze for this particular movie is such that theater owners are arranging midnight shows to meet the demand with supply and still people are finding it tough to get tickets, especially in the North belts, where the craze for this is sky-high. ## "KGF: Chapter 2" was anticipated to break "RRR's" opening day record at the domestic box office, however, it fell short to reach there as SS Rajamouli's period action drama is still playing in theaters on a significant number of screens all over India. Had "RRR" not playing in theaters currently, "KGF 2" would have easily become the biggest opener in India, beating both "RRR" and "Baahubali 2". Nonetheless, the Kannada biggie still outscored both the movies in some regions, including Hindi. ## Comparing the opening day biz of "KGF 2", "RRR" and "Baahubali 2" - the latest movie has grossed 134.5 crores (3rd biggest) against "RRR's" 156 crores (all-time highest) and BB2's 152 crores (2nd highest) at the domestic box office on the first day. Hindi was the biggest contributor to the Neel-directed, followed by Telugu, Kannada, Tamil, and Malayalam.## There was a debate over the film's opening day collection in Hindi as many predicted that it would open with 25 crores, while some said it might reach 30 crores but not more. Well, the cat is out of the hat, and by surpassing all the expectations, "KGF 2" has become the biggest opener ever in Hindi. ## The film scored 64 crores gross in Hindi on an opening day. In comparison, "Baahubali 2" had scored 52 crores gross on the first day while "RRR" could manage only 23.68 crores. The postponement of Shahid Kapoor's "Jersey" also helped "KGF 2" to take the monster opening as it got extra screens. Hyderabad, April 13 - Superstar Ram Charan has resumed the shooting for director Shankar's political thriller, RC15 (working title), after keeping himself busy in "RRR", which is now become a global rage. The SS Rajamouli-directed released over 10 overseas countries apart from India and already grossed over 1050 crores worldwide. ## Ram Charan, along with actor Jr. NTR, director Rajamouli, and producer DVV Danayya, have been traveling from one city to another to promote their film until recently. They have put in a lot of effort to promote their film which has paid off. During a recent interview with Deadline, Charan revealed that they are planning to release the film in more international markets and will be touring to promote it. ## "In October we are having a big grand release in Japan, so yes we are doing a couple of days tour in Japan and then China. We have released in 10 countries now and I believe we are exploring about 30 more different countries", he said. ## Talking about "RRR's" release in China, even though the date is not confirmed yet over there, China could be a massive market for the makers. It's a very different world from the kind of work I've done so far. I am sure the audience will enjoy the magnum opus that is Adipurush". ## Even though Sonal made her debut with the Bollywood movie, "Jannat" in 2008, she is very well known to the Telugu audiences as well.
