T-Series Unveils First Look Poster And A New Release Date of 'Yaariyan 2'

Mumbai, August 9 - The sequel to 2014's coming-of-age romantic film "Yaariyan" has been in production since last year and makers have finally dropped the first look poster along with a new release date. It is directed by Radhika Rao and Vinay Sapru, known for directing "Sanam Teri Kasam".## On Wednesday (August 9), the makers took to social media to release the first-look poster, featuring Divya Khosla Kumar, Meezaan Jafri, and Pearl V Puri. The poster is eye-catching in which Divya is portrayed with her back to the camera with a cigarette in her hand in Lehenga with both the male actors standing on either side of her.## With the first look poster, the makers also announced that the teaser will be out tomorrow (August 10) while the movie will be hitting worldwide cinemas on October 20, on the occasion of Dussehra. It will clash with Tiger Shroff's much-awaited "Ganapath Part 1" along with a couple of other movies.## Produced by T-Series, "Yaariyan 2" also stars Yash Dasgupta, Anaswara Ranjan, Warina Hussain, and Priya Varrier. The actor was confirmed as Don months ago, and now, the makers officially announced the same.## Ranveer Singh will replace Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan who previously led two Don movies in 2006 and 2011. Before Shah Rukh Khan, the legendary Amitabh Bachchan headlined the original Don movie in 1978 and it is considered the best film in the franchise yet.## Farhan Akhtar will direct "Don 3" and will also be producing it with Ritesh Sidhwani under their banner Excel Entertainment. Hyderabad, August 9 - Veteran Telugu superstar Chiranjeevi is gearing up his second release of the year in the form of "Bholaa Shankar". It is an official remake of the 2015 Tamil film "Vedalam", and also stars Tamannaah Bhatia, Keerthy Suresh, and Sushanth in prominent roles.## Directed by Meher Ramesh, "Bhola Shankar" is one of the least hyped movies of megastar Chiranjeevi which led to below-expected response in advance sales. Scheduled to release on August 11, the movie, however, is still to open with a good collection due to Chiranjeevi's star power and well-received promos.## Chiranjeevi's last film "Waltair Veerayya" emerged as a super hit at the box office, despite that, the pre-release theatrical business of "Bhola Shankar" is the lowest (yet good) for the actor in recent times. The movie has been valued at approx. 80 crores worldwide which will be its break-even target to emerge as a clean hit, according to T2BLive.## In two Telugu states (Andhra Pradesh and Telangana), the movie has been valued at approx. 67.50 crores, including 22 crores in the Nizam area. It will need to score approx. 68 crores share (100+ crores gross) collection to break even in AP-TG. The rest of the Indian theatrical business has been fixed at 5 crores while overseas business is approx. 7 crores.
