Box Office: Jawan Tops 500 Crores India Net And 900 Crores Gross Worldwide
Mumbai, September 19 - Superstar Shah Rukh Khan's mega-blockbuster Jawan crosses the 500 crores net mark in all versions on its 13th day in India. With this, the action thriller has become the 3rd Bollywood movie, after "Pathaan", and "Gadar 2" to reach this milestone.
Directed by Atlee Kumar, "Jawan" scored 14.40 crores net on its 13th day/second Tuesday, which took the total net collection to 508.28 crores. It will cross "Gadar 2" by Thursday and during the 3rd weekend, it will beat "Pathaan" to become the biggest net collection-scoring movie of all-time in all versions.
The Hindi version of "Jawan" has reached 457.59 crores, and during the 3rd weekend, it will top 500 crores net and will become the 4th movie ever to hit this mark in Hindi or a single language in India. The lifetime Hindi collection of the film is likely to be around 550 crores net (all-time record), and around 620 crores in all versions.
Meanwhile, apart from the domestic box office milestone, "Jawan" has crossed 900 crores gross mark today and becomes the 5th Bollywood and 8th Indian movie to do so. The movie is on course to beat "Pathaan" (1055+ crores) to become the highest-grossing Indian movie of the year and 5th highest-grossing of all time.
