The movie will be distributed by Ahimsa Entertainment that opened the advances 42 days before the release. ## The studio announced via social media that the movie has sold 10K+ tickets worth over £100k within 24-hours, which is the fastest all-time record for an Indian movie in the United Kingdom. The advances opened in just 120 locations and the initial response has been excellent which hints at the record opening for the movie.## "Leo", directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, is easily the most-anticipated Tamil movie of the year and it is expected to smash all the records at the box office. Mumbai, September 8 - Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan outshined himself as his latest blockbuster Jawan has emerged the biggest Bollywood opener of all-time, be it domestic or worldwide box office. The movie has beaten the previous record SRK's "Pathaan" which was released earlier this year.## The Atlee Kumar's directorial movie set the box office on fire on the first day with theaters reported houseful boards all over the country. In Hindi, the movie scored a gigantic 65.50 crores net on the opening day, which is an all-time record in Hindi, beating "Pathaan" (55 crores net).## The Tamil and Telugu version of the movie scored 9 crores net combined, and allied with the Hindi collection, "Jawan" scored 74.50 crores net (90 crores gross) opening day. It has also beaten "Pathaan" (57 crores net) record of the all-language biggest Bollywood opener. ## "Jawan" was also running riot at the overseas box office and scored 39.60 crores gross on the opening day, pushing the total worldwide opening of the movie to 129.60 crores. This is the highest ever Bollywood start of all-time, beating "Pathaan" (105 crores). ## Interestingly, "Jawan" and "Pathaan" are the only outright Bollywood movie to take 100+ crores worldwide opening and both the movies have released in 2023 and led by SRK on both occasions. Mumbai, September 8 - Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar's A-rated social comedy drama film OMG 2 has emerged as big box office hit at the domestic as well as overseas. Directed by Amit Rai, the movie has already crossed the 200 crores gross mark at the global box office, and now, it is heading to 150 crores domestic net collection.## OMG 2 had a good 4th week despite the heavy competition as it scored approximately 7.40 crores net, dropping just around 52% from the third week which is very good hold. This takes the total collection to around 149.25 crores net in 28 days and it could add another 1-2 crores more to take its total past 150 crores mark.## The film dropped heavily on the last day (4th Thursday) of the 4th week due to the arrival of Shah Rukh Khan-fronted "Jawan" which took most the screens away of the movie, plus the holdovers are also performing really well. Nonetheless, OMG 2 has done its job despite releasing with the age restriction by the censor board.## OMG 2 also has a good outing at the overseas box office with gross collection approximately 43 crores, which helped the worldwide cume of the movie to reach over 219 crores gross. It scored a good hold in the second weekend, dropping around 57% for 28.50+ crores collection which takes the total collection to around 96 crores in 14 days.## "Dream Girl 2" will look to enter 100 crores net club by the 2nd of the 3rd weekend, and it will be Ayushmann Khurrana's first 100 crores net movie since "Bala" (2019). On its first day of pre-sales opening, it BMS sold 254K tickets, followed by 181.3K tix on the second day, 182.4K tix on the third day, 201.7K tix and 286.3K tix on the 4th and 5th day, respectively. ## Directed by Atlee Kumar, "Jawan" is expected to record its biggest day in advance booking today (September 6) on Book My Show as well as overall.
