Akshay Kumar's 'Housefull 5' To Go On Floors In January 2024

Mumbai, November 8 - Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar and filmmaker Sajid Nadiadwala reunite for the fifth instalment of the comic caper "Housefull". The movie was announced recently with Akshay and Riteish Deshmukh in the lead while Tarun Mansukhani will direct it.

Now, according to a report by Pinkvilla, Housefull 5 will go on floors in January next year. The much-awaited comedy entertainer is currently in the pre-production work as the core plot of the movie is locked. Akshay and Sajid are working together to take the movie on floors from January 15, 2024.



"Housefull 5" is easily one of the most expensive Indian movies and the costliest film in the franchise with a budget of over 350 crores. It will be extensively shot in the UK and the makers have planned it make the best comic caper coming out from India.

The movie will have a huge ensemble as reports say that most of the actors from the previous films in the franchise will be returning to the upcoming movie. "Housefull 5" will have a grand release on Diwali next year in theatres worldwide.

Meanwhile, Akshay Kumar is currently shooting for Mudassar Aziz-directed comic caper "Khel Khel Mein". He also has "Jolly LLB 3", "Sky Force", "Hera Pheri 3", "Welcome 3", and "Awara Paagal Deewana" in the pipeline while his next release is "Soorarai Pottru" remake followed by the much-awaited actioner, "Bade Miyan Chote Miyan".
