Hyderabad, November 7 - The anticipation is shooting up for the release of Prabhas-fronted action drama Salaar Part 1: Ceasefire. Directed by Prashanth Neel, the film is scheduled to release on December 22nd and the makers are scaling up the promotional activities.

According to the reports, Hombale Films is planning to set up massive cutouts of Prabhas' character in Mumbai, Delhi, and other cities to promote the film in Hindi in the coming days. The team is also planning to unveil new posters to reveal the distributors of the film in all areas.



The trailer of the film has been one of the most eagerly anticipated. According to the latest reports in Telugu media, the trailer of "Salaar" is expected to be out in the first week of December, most likely on December 1st. The trailer release is expected to lead the team on an extensive promotional tour across the country till the release of the film.

The film is produced by Hombale Films and this marks the studio and director Prashanth Neel's maiden collaboration with Prabhas who play the title role in the film. The movie also stars Shruti Haasan, Prithviraj Sukumaran, Jagapathi Babu, Tinnu Anand, Easwari Rao, Sriya Reddy, and Ramachandra Raju in key roles.

"Salaar" will be released in Telugu, Kannada, Hindi, Tamil, and Malayalam, languages in the regular as well as the IMAX format.
