Box Office: Mega Blockbuster 'Animal' Hits 500 Crore India Net In All Versions

Mumbai, December 17 - Director Sandeep Reddy Vanga's Animal with Bollywood star Ranbir Kapoor has entered the elite league of 500 crores net at the Indian box office. The film crossed this magical mark as I type this in 17 days in all versions, becoming 4th Bollywood film of the year to do so.

Animal scored a big jump of over 50% on its third Saturday to bring in 12.80 crores net collection, pushing the total to approx. 498 crores in 16 days. The movie has crossed the 500 crore net mark and it will be around 510+ crores at the end of the 17th day.



The action drama has crossed 450 crores net in the original Hindi version in 16 days and has all the possibilities to enter the 500 crores club in the next couple of weeks. In the dubbed Telugu version, it has minted approx. huge 42 crores net, followed by approx. 5 crores net in other dubbed versions.

It is the first movie of Ranbir Kapoor along with director Sandeep Vanga and actress Rashmika Mandanna to enter the 500 crores club and 4th Indian movie of 2023 to achieve the feat after Pathaan, Gadar 2, and Jawan. Overall, it is the 7th film to top this prestigious box office mark and is all set to finish as the 5th biggest net grosser at the end of its run.

Meanwhile, Animal has also crossed 800 crores gross at the worldwide box office in 16 days. It has so far grossed approx. 815 crores, including approx. 221 crores overseas collection. It is heading towards finishing over 900 crores gross worldwide.
