Akshay Kumar-Led 'Welcome 3' Aka 'Welcome To The Jungle' Gets Massive Star Cast On Board

Mumbai, September 9 - Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar has been confirmed to headline the third installment of the comedy franchise, Welcome. The makers of the movie, titled Welcome To The Jungle aka Welcome 3 have got a massive ensemble of at least 24 actors on board.## Directed by Ahmed Khan, the movie will feature Akshay Kumar in the main role, returning to the franchise after missing out on the second installment. Box Office: Gadar 2 Surpasses Baahubali 2 To Become Second Highest Hindi Net Scorer of All-Time

Mumbai, September 9 - Sunny Deol-fronted Gadar 2: The Katha Continues takes one step closer to Shah Rukh Khan's "Pathaan" as far as the Indian box office is concerned.## The period action drama film, directed by Anil Sharma, has crossed SS Rajamouli's mega blockbuster "Baahubali 2 The Conclusion" to become the second highest Hindi net collection scorer of all-time. BB2 had scored 510.99 crores net in Hindi, which is still the highest collection ever in the dubbed version in India. ## At the time of writing this piece, Gadar 2 has topped BB2 Hindi collection, and is now left behind only Pathaan which scored a little over 524 crores net in Hindi earlier this year. Box Office: Jawan Second Day Early Estimates; Fantastic Hold

Mumbai, September 8 - After the record-breaking opening day, Shah Rukh Khan's Jawan put up a fantastic hold on its second day which was actually a working day. The first day was a partial holiday due to Krishna Janmashtami which pushed the collection to some extra crores. ## The movie scored a drop on the morning shows on the second day/first Friday but picked up excellently in the evening and night shows as it is looking at, at least 47 crores net collection in Hindi depending on the size of drop in the smaller centers.## Jawan also hold well in Tamil and Telugu versions as estimates suggest 5-6 crores net for all-India 53+ crores net second day. The overall drop today is around 25-30% from the opening day which is a fantastic hold. Mumbai, September 8 - Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar's A-rated social comedy drama film OMG 2 has emerged as big box office hit at the domestic as well as overseas. Directed by Amit Rai, the movie has already crossed the 200 crores gross mark at the global box office, and now, it is heading to 150 crores domestic net collection.## OMG 2 had a good 4th week despite the heavy competition as it scored approximately 7.40 crores net, dropping just around 52% from the third week which is very good hold. As of 4 PM on September 6, the movie has scored approximately 32.50 crores advance gross collection with 12.30 lakh tickets sold in all languages.## "Pathaan", directed by Siddharth Anand, had scored 32 crores advance gross collection for the opening day with 10.80 lakh tickets got sold in all versions. Jawan Advance Booking Nears 40 Crores Worldwide; Set For Biggest Bollywood Opening Ever

Mumbai, September 5 - National award winning actor Dhanush is reuniting with director Anand L Rai for a love story film, titled Tere Ishk Mein. The movie was in June this year with the first look teaser on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of "Raanjhanaa".## Now, according to Tamil industry tracker Amutha Bharathi, the makers are in talks with one of the leading Bollywood actresses, Kiara Advani to play the female lead role. The talks are said to be in the final stage and the actress is more or less confirmed for the role. ## "Tere Ishk Mein" is a love story reportedly set in the backdrop of air force. It will mark Dhanush and Kiara's maiden collaboration if happens. As reported recently, the shoot of the movie is expected to commence in November this year in Utter Pradesh and it will be shot in a straight three-month schedule. ## The movie is helmed by Aanand L Rai and its story, dialogues, and screenplay are penned by Himanshu Sharma and Neeraj Yadav.
