TKF, which is based on the true events of the exodus of Kashmiri Pandits, scored the second biggest 2nd Saturday of all-time at the Hindi box office with Rs. 24.80 crores. It is behind only Prabhas-fronted "Baahubali 2" (Rs. 26.5 cr.), which is the highest-grossing film of all-time in Hindi.
"Baahubali 2", however, has had a bigger jump on the second Saturday (+34.18%) as compared to TKF (+29.50%) from the second Friday. It beats Aamir Khan's "Dangal", which had scored Rs. 23.07 crores on the 2nd Saturday.
There was no pressure on TKF to climb the mountain, but now, it is aiming to score Everest, and it looks like it will reach there without any glitch. It is one of the rare films in Indian cinema that is trending like no one else.

"The Kashmir Files" will cross Rs. 200 crores gross at the worldwide box office today (March 20). It has so far earned Rs. 141.25 crores net (Rs. 163.8 cr. gross) in India and overseas, it has grossed approx. Rs. 14.2 crores after 9 days.
