Mumbai, October 29 - Actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui, who made his name in the digital space, has decided to part ways with OTT platforms. The Sacred Games actor feels that OTTs have become a "dumping ground for redundant shows" which is killing talent. ## "We either have shows that don’t deserve to be seen in the first place. Or sequels to shows that have nothing more to say", Nawazuddin said.## "When I did Sacred Games for Netflix, there was an excitement and challenge around the digital medium. New talent was being given a chance Now that freshness is gone. It's become Dhanda (racket) for big production houses and actors who are now so-called stars on the OTT platform".## "Major film producers in Bollywood have cut lucrative deals with all the big players in the OTT field. Producers get whopping amounts to create unlimited content. The quantity has killed quality", the actor added. He finds OTT shows unbearable now. "When I can't bear to watch them how can I bear to be in them?".## Nawazuddin Siddiqui, meanwhile, has plenty of projects in the pipeline. He is currently filming for Heropanti 2, Adbhut while Jogira Sara Ra Ra, Sangeen, and No Land's Man are in the post-production stage. Bangalore, October 29 - In shocking turns of events, Kannada superstar Puneeth Rajkumar passed away on Friday at the age of 46. The actor suffered a massive heart attack in the morning was admitted to a private hospital in Bengaluru.## Puneeth Rajkumar developed chest pain in the morning and visited his family doctor for an ECG. Following the ECG, he was asked to rush to the hospital. He was admitted to Vikram Hospital’s ICU in a serious condition around 11.30 am, a doctor at the hospital said.## Karnataka minister Dr. CN Ashwathnarayan confirmed the news to PTI. "He had accomplished immensely from an early age. Mumbai, October 29 - Ace filmmaker SS Rajamouli and the largest multiplex chain of India, PVR Cinemas has collaborated for a first-of-its-kind association for the upcoming magnum opus, RRR. As per the collaboration, PVR has decided to alter its brand identity and logo to the movie name RRR. Starting today, PVR will now be referred to as 'PVRRR'. ## Announcing the same, RRR director SS Rajamouli and Ajay Bijli – Chairman & Managing Director PVR Ltd have unveiled the new 'PVRRR' logo in front of the gathered media. While the details of their third collaboration will be revealed soon, it is an untitled film pegged for a theatrical release. ## "It is reassuring to be working with like-minded people. The viewers are in for a surprise", Vidyut said. ## Vidyut and Panorama studios' first film together, "Khuda Haafiz" was a direct-to-digital released in 2020. The Simu Liu starrer not only became the biggest domestic blockbuster of 2021 but also opened the doors for its preceder in the coming future.## There were reports that the sequel of "Shang-Chi" is in the works at the Marvel Studios, and now, according to GWW, the sequel has been greenlit and is reportedly set to begin production in 2023. Prime Video has exclusively signed a deal with YRF for 4 most anticipated upcoming films that include Bunty Aur Babli 2, Prithviraj, Jayeshbhai Jordaar, and Shamshera for their streaming after 4 weeks of theatrical release. ## While the aforementioned films have been made official, Amazon has reportedly grabbed two more YRF films. According to reports, YRF's in-production big-budget films - Salman Khan starrer "Tiger 3" and Shah Rukh Khan's comeback film "Pathan" will be available to stream on Prime Video after 8-weeks of theatrical release. ## Reports claim that Amazon has paid a whopping Rs. 200 crores to beg the streaming rights of Tiger 3 and Pathan, which are one of the most-awaited Indian films. Both the films are currently on floors and in their final legs of shooting schedules. ## The third installment of the Tiger film franchise, Tiger 3, will see Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif reprising their roles as RAW and ISI agents respectively. The spy actioner will also feature Emraan Hashmi as the antagonist, however, the official announcement regarding his inclusion is yet to be made. The movie is being directed by Maneesh Sharma. ## Pathan, on the other hand, marks Shah Rukh Khan's return on the big screen after almost three years. SRK has been shooting since the last year on this action thriller which also stars Deepika Padukone and John Abraham in prominent roles. Yash Raj Films Inks 4 Films Deal With Amazon Prime Video For Post Theatrical Streaming

Mumbai, October 28 - The leading Hindi film production studio, Yash Raj Films has locked the streaming partner for its 4 upcoming films. The studio, which will release Bunty Aur Babli 2 (Nov. 19), Prithviraj (Jan. 21, 2022), Jayeshbhai Jordaar (Feb. 25, 2022), and Shamshera (Mar. 18, 2022) in the next five months, has inked a deal with Amazon Prime Video for the post-theatrical premiere. ## According to the deal, Amazon Prime Video will have the rights to stream the aforementioned films on its platform 4 weeks after their theatrical release. Amazon has been the first choice destination for Indian films in the last one and a half years. Los Angeles, October 28 - Marvel Studios' next superhero offering, "Eternals" has its world premiere last week at the iconic El Capitan Theatre in Los Angeles on Monday (October 18). The early reactions to the film indicate it is the most un-like Marvel picture ever. ## The critics reviewed the film with most agreeing that this is a massive swing for the Marvel Cinematic Universe while some think it should have been a two-part offering as they feel it might lose the audience in the process of trying to explain a ton of what's really up with the backstory of these films. ## The different opinions on Academy Award-winning director Chloé Zhao's first Marvel film, have come out heavily against it as it has been rated lowest amongst all the Marvel films on Rotten Tomatoes.
