Thalapathy Vijay's 'Beast' To Lock Horns With 'KGF 2' And 'Laal Singh Chaddha'

Chennai, January 22 - If all goes as per plans, the month of April 2022 will see a mega clash at the Indian box office. Aamir Khan Productions, yesterday clarified that "Laal Singh Chaddha" will arrive on April 14, 2022, as scheduled contrary to the reports of its postponement. ## The release of "Laal Singh Chaddha" will meet the much-anticipated Pan-India biggie, Yash-starrer "KGF: Chapter 2", which was long ago announced for that date. And now, Thalapathy Vijay's keenly-awaited Tamil blockbuster "Beast" is also looking for the same window. ## Directed by Nelson Dilipkumar, "Beast" hasn't set an exact release date, but it has been announced for April release. Industry sources have said that it will be released on April 14, thus confirming the blockbuster clash with KGF 2 and LSC at the box office.## However, if all three biggies decide to come out on the same date, it will be "KGF 2", which will be affected the most. Being a Pan-India film, the movie is carrying a lot of anticipation and eyeing to be a potential highest-grosser of the year. In the scenario of the clash, its chances will get a dent due to screen sharing with the other two. ## Aamir Khan's "Laal Singh Chaddha" is an outright Hindi film and is expected to do well despite the clash with "KGF 2". However, it will have a share screen which might reduce its overall box office potential. On the other hand, "Beast" too, is unlikely to affect despite the clash. But again, just like LSC, it will also have to share the screen in Tamil Nadu.## Stay tuned...

After 'Rangasthalam', Manish Shah To Release Thalapathy Vijay's 'Mersal' In Hindi

Mumbai, January 21 - Manish Shah of Goldmines Telefilms seems to be on a mission of releasing Hindi dubbed versions of South Indian movies. While Shah is behind the revolutionary idea of airing dubbed versions on television, the recent theatrical success of "Pushpa - The Rise" in Hindi has raised the expectations from South Indian films as far as theatrical experience is concerned. ## Inspired by the "Pushpa" success, Manish Shah, who owns the Hindi dubbing rights of 80% of South Indian films, has already announced the Hindi theatrical release of Allu Arjun's 2020 blockbuster "Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo" on January 26. AVPL was the highest-grossing South Indian film of 2020 which was directed by Trivikram Srinivas.## After "Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo", Manish Shah has plans to release Ram Charan and Samantha Ruth Prabhu's "Rangasthalam" (2018). This Sukumar-directed is one of the highest-grossing Telugu films of all time. Meanwhile, if all goes well, Thalapathy Vijay's Tamil blockbuster "Mersal" (2017) will also be released in theaters in Hindi. ## Directed by Atlee, "Mersal" became a huge hit in Tamil. Manish Shah in an interview with Bollywood Hungama revealed his plan to release "Rangasthalam", and "Mersal" in Hindi, however, a lot will depend upon how "Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo" performs at the box office. ## Being one of the leading South Indian stars, Thalapathy Vijay also carries a huge fan-following among the Hindi audiences. His "Sura", "Theri", and "Thuppakki" are quite popular on satellite in Hindi, so it won't be a bad idea to release Hindi versions of his blockbuster films in theaters.## Stay tuned...

Did 'Shehzada' Makers Actually Pay Rs. 8 Crores To Not Air 'Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo' On Television? Manish Shah Reveals The Truth

Mumbai, January 21 - Thanks to producer Manish Shah of Goldmines Telefilms, most of the south Indian movies' Hindi dubbed versions are popular among the Hindi audiences. He introduced the idea of releasing dubbed versions on satellite channels more than a decade ago and continuing to do that. ## The recently released Allu Arjun's "Pushpa - The Rise", however, brought Goldmines Telefilms in the spotlight like never before. The company released the Hindi version of the film in theaters and it surprised one and all with its blockbuster success, by collection over Rs. 85 crores.## Manish Shah is now gearing up to release the Hindi version of Allu Arjun's 2020 blockbuster "Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo" in theaters on January 26. Interestingly, the Hindi remake of the film is currently under production starring Kartik Aaryan and Kriti Sanon in the lead roles. ## Since the remake of AVPL is in the works, it was recently reported that the makers of "Shehzada" had paid Rs. 8 crores to Manish Shah to not air AVPL on television as it might affect their film when it releases in theaters. Manish Shah, however, has denied getting paid for not to air the film.## "Not at all", Shah told Bollywood Hungama. "All these films have been brought to my channel. Hence, I don't need to sell it to any other channel. Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo is also one such film. It's a blockbuster. I'll play it on my channel. I have nothing to do with the makers of Shehzada".## Manish Shah, meanwhile, is planning to release the Hindi version of Ram Charan and Samantha Ruth Prabhu's "Rangasthalam", directed by Sukumar, in February in theaters. The theatrical release of the film, however, depends on the outcome of AVPL. If AVPL does well, then it is sure that "Rangasthalam", along with a few South Indian films will get theatrical releases in Hindi. ## Stay tuned...
