Chennai, January 1 - Tamil star Sivakarthikeyan is on cloud nine after delivering the biggest hit of his career in the form of "Doctor". The actor is now gearing up for his next, "Don", which is likely to release in February 2022. Touted as a college romantic drama, "Don" is directed by Cibi Chakravarthy, and stars Priyanka Mohan as the female lead. ## Sivakarthikeyan, meanwhile, welcome 2022 with a new film announcement, which will be a Tamil-Telugu bilingual film. The yet-untitled film will be directed by Anudeep KV ("Jathi Ratnalu") and produced by Narayan Das K Narang, Suresh Babu, and Puskur Ram Mohan Rao. It marks Anudeep's maiden collaboration with Sivakarthikeyan, who is debuting in Telugu as a lead hero. ## According to reports, the busy bee, Rashmika Mandanna will be the leading lady opposite Tamil star in the film, #SK20. It is reported that the "Pushpa - The Rise" actress is in talks to romance Sivakarthikeyan. If things go as per plan, it will be the first time Rashmika will share screen space with the Tamil actor. Mumbai, January 1 - Rohit Shetty remains the only Hindi filmmaker during the covid-19 pandemic to deliver a super hit film in the form of "Sooryavanshi". The maverick filmmaker is now gearing up for his next directorial, "Cirkus", starring Ranveer Singh in the lead role alongside Pooja Hegde and Jacqueline Fernandez as the female leads. ## "Cirkus", which marks Rohit Shetty's first comedy directorial outside his Golmaal franchise, is said to be an adaptation of William Shakespeare's play The Comedy of Errors. The release date of "Cirkus" wasn't announced officially but it was said that the movie will come out on July 15, 2022. However, Rohit Shetty doesn't seem to be in a hurry to release his next as he thinks other producers, who have held back the release of their films, should get a chance for at least 6-7 months. ## "We have not announced the release date for Cirkus. It's speculation that we are releasing in theatres on July 15, 2022. We are still considering the date and will announce it soon when we get the right one. I could have announced Cirkus on any date as I was the first person who knew that the theatres are going to open but I felt that one needs to also give other producers a chance too, for six-seven months", said the filmmaker according to Pinkvilla.## "Cirkus is ready. Too much of movies overlapping, is also not good for the film industry and there is a lot of backlog of films, including RRR, Runway 34, Gangubai Kathiawadi, for two years so let them release first and then I will come.
