Chennai, February 17 - Tamil superstar Ajith Kumar is readying for the release of his long-awaited action thriller, "Valimai", which is slated for February 24 release in Tamil, Hindi, Telugu, and Kannada, languages.

Meanwhile, even before the release of "Valimai", producer Boney Kapoor recently confirmed that he would be reuniting with Tamil superstar for the third time, and it will also be directed by H Vinoth. The movie, tentatively titled #AK61, will go on floors on March 9, 2022.



"AK 61" will be another action thriller film billed on strong emotions. Interestingly, Ajith Kumar will reportedly be playing a negative role in the film after a long time. It will mark "Billa" actor's 3rd straight film with Boney Kapoor after "Nerkonda Paarvai" (2019), and "Valimai".

According to reports, Boney Kapoor has set Diwali 2022 release date for AK 61 as he is confident that the movie will be completed before that. It will be shot in both domestic and foreign locations. The details about the rest of the cast and crew will be announced as soon as the shoot begins.
