Jr. NTR said that he knew the script but it was a different experience altogether when he watched it on the big screen. It was ready to release in 2020 but thanks to the covid, the makers were forced to push postponed it, and the film was finally released during Diwali weekend in 2021. ## Rohit Shetty's next film is comedy entertainer, "Cirkus", which is scheduled to release on Christmas this year. Shetty said that he always wanted to make this film, but he had a different reason to start this film in the pandemic. ## The "Singham" director has often insisted that his technicians are his biggest strength but because of the pandemic, they were left with no choice but to sit home without any job. During a recent interview with Pinkvilla, Shetty said that he wanted to restart the cycle of filmmaking for his technicians so that they could earn their livelihood. ## "Much like Sooryavanshi, Cirkus also has a history. It was the first film to get into the production stage. So many producers and directors visited our sets to see how we are shooting. Los Angeles, July 29 - Marvel Studios' president Kevin Feige announced a handful of upcoming Marvel titles at San Diego Comic-Con recently. Among studios' exciting line-up, Fiege also finally announced two more "Avengers" films in the Marvel Cinematic Universe - "Avengers: The Kang Dynasty" and "Avengers: Secret Wars", releasing in 2025. ## The last Avengers movie was "Avengers: Endgame", which was released in 2019, so the gap between "Endgame" and the next in the franchise "Avengers: The Kang Dynasty", is officially 6 years which is the highest between two Avengers movies. There have been a total of four films released in the franchise so far, and there was three years gap between the first three films, while one year separated the releases of "Infinity War" and “Endgame".## Kevin Feige, meanwhile, has a point to justify the 6 years gap between "Avengers 4" and "Avengers 5", and also explained why the first 4 films didn't take much time. He was in conversation with MTV News (via variety). ## "The truth is, when we were doing Phase 1, Phase 2 and Phase 3, there were less projects over more years. They were smaller projects and individual character stories, and it felt appropriate at that point, that after every two or three years that it took for a phase, we would do an 'Avengers' film", Feige said. ## "As [Phase] 4, 5 and 6 were coming together, there are more projects in less years – because of all the amazing stuff we're now allowed to do on Disney+, and getting characters from Fox, Fantastic Four and Deadpool — that it felt like, certainly after 'Infinity War' and 'Endgame', that we thought 'Avengers' movies aren't cappers. So many of our movies now and what you're about to see in 'Ant-Man 3', are big team-up films introducing big parts of the mythology... 'Avengers' films really should be the capper to a saga", he added.## "Avengers: The Kang Dynasty" will be directed by "Shang-Chi" filmmaker Destin Daniel Cretton while there is no director set yet for "Secret Wars", which will conclude MCU's "The Multiverse Saga" as the name of Marvel Phases 4-6. Box Office: Shamshera Ends First Week On A Disappointing Note

Mumbai, July 29 - Yet another Yash Raj Films production bites the dust as Ranbir Kapoor-fronted biggie Shamshera, also starring Sanjay Dutt, and Vaani Kapoor, succumbed in the first week itself without putting up even a fight at the box office. ## Directed by Karan Malhotra, "Shamshera" was YRF's best bet among the five films in its current slot. The initial response to the movie was positive, as far as advance booking is concerned, but it couldn't sustain that momentum and ended up the first week with approx. 41 crores net, which is disastrous, to say the least. The worldwide gross collection is a little over 52 crores marks.## The period action drama film, which is made on a budget of around 150 crores, got largely affected by the reviews from critics, who slammed the movie left, right, and center as if, it was the worst movie ever made in Bollywood. The word of mouth was mixed, but that was not going to save the film from the wrath of self-claimed critics. ## "Shamshera" has nothing left in its show from hereon as it is another Bollywood movie post-pandemic to ended up becoming a one-week wonder. With "Ek Villain Returns" releasing today, things become even more difficult for Ranbeer Kapoor-starrer to retain screens. ## Yash Raj Films' next release is Shah Rukh Khan's comeback movie "Pathaan", which is scheduled to release on January 25, 2023. Later, the studios' "Tiger 3", starring Salman Khan will release on Eid 2023. YRF has had great success with the Tiger franchise while "Pathaan" is a new entry in its spy universe. Mumbai, July 29 - Kannada superstar Kichcha Sudeepa's Pan India film Vikrant Rona has been released in theaters and winning praise all around for providing a majestic cinematic 3D experience. The Hindi version of this mystery action-adventure film is presented by superstar Salman Khan with whom, Sudeepa shares a great bond personally. ## Sudeepa, who shared screen space with Salman Khan in "Dabangg 3", had said in an interview in 2021 that he has plans to direct the Bollywood superstar in a film. Since then, both got busy with their respective projects, and there has been not much development on their next project together. The "Vikrant Rona" actor has now opened up about his film with Salman. ## In a recent conversation with Pinkvilla, while promoting his film, Sudeepa said, "When I am directing Salman Khan, you should wait, no". ## He added, "The process just started last year and wait for some more time. I have to tell him the story, then he has to say a yes and then tell the time of coming to set. With Salman Bhai, it's going to be like that. He is so busy with so many people writing for him. We keep discussing and it will happen at the right time".## The actor also talked about Salman lending his support to Vikrant Rona by presenting the Hindi version. Opening Day Box Office Prediction For John Abraham, Arjun Kapoor's 'Ek Villain Returns'

Mumbai, July 28 - Another Friday arrives and there is another big Bollywood film, in the form of "Ek Villain Returns", releasing in theaters. But the biggest question remains to answer, will fortune change this time? or will it meet the same fate as the previous films? It is something that is very difficult to predict in these changing box office dynamics post-pandemic. ## There was a time when Bollywood was the synonym for Blockbuster, however, that time has become a thing of the past as the blockbuster status, nowadays, becomes a blue moon for the industry. Forget about blockbuster or hit or superhit, taking a decent to good opening has become a hard nut to crack for the Hindi film industry despite a lot of promises. ## Talking about the Mohit Suri-directed "Ek Villain Returns", one thing is sure the stakes are not that high in this film as compared to the last Friday's release "Shamshera" of which, the box office result is there for everyone to see. The dismal show of Ranbir Kapoor-starrer could actually benefit EVR, which is looking to take a decent to a good start and the rest, makers hoping, the content will do the job for them. ## The advance booking of the film is around 2 crores gross (till 3:30 PM on July 28), which may not look big, but definitely decent, considering it was opened just 48 hours before the movie officially releases in theaters on July 29. Looking at the advance booking so far and the fact that it is a sequel to a successful film, the opening is expected somewhere between 5-6 crores. ## "Ek Villain Returns" is a kind of film that doesn't rely on heavy advance and hence, this 2 crores, which is likely to finish somewhere around 3 crores before the first show starts, can be seen as a positive trend so far. To keep our expectations low is a safe bet nowadays and thus, the opening of 5-6 crores is looking sure shot, but the industry is hoping at least 8 crores starts as spot booking is expected to be good as compared to advance. ## Produced by T-Series and Balaji Motion Pictures, "Ek Villain Returns" is reportedly eyeing a wide release on over 3000 screens across the country. The theatrical runtime this John Abraham, Arjun Kapoor, Tara Sutaria, and Disha Patani, is also in check with around 2 hours 8 minutes. Hyderabad, July 28 - Pan India superstar Prabhas has been working on one of the biggest films of his career, "Project K", which is being directed by Nag Ashwin. The movie also stars legendary Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone, and Disha Patani in prominent roles. The sci-fi epic is being produced by Vyjayanthi Movies. ## "Project K" has been in production since last year and it was supposed to hit screens in 2022 but got delayed as the movie is getting shot on a massive scale. Now, producer C. Ashwini Dutt of Vyjayanthi Movies has provided a massive update on the release date front of "Project K". ## Producer Dutt has revealed during the promotion of "Sita Ramam" that they are planning to release the film on October 18, 2023, on a massive scale. If not October 2023, then they will release the film in January 2024, most probably on the Sankranthi occasion. He revealed that the shooting will be wrapped up by January 2023 and will take a minimum of 8 months in post-production. ## The producer further said that "Project K" will be an "Avengers" kind of film that will surprise one and all. Prabhas will be traffic and Amitabh Bachchan will be seen in a never-before avatar. They will be aiming to release the movie in China, America, and other international markets on the widest scale possible. ## Meanwhile, Prabhas will next be seen in director Om Raut's magnum opus "Adipurush", which is scheduled to release on January 12, 2023. Later in the year, he will be headlining Prashanth Neel's period action drama film "Salaar", which is produced by Hombale Films. The shooting is currently progressing and will be wrapped by the end of this year. It is likely to hit screens in mid-2023 in multiple languages.
