Hollywood Blockbuster 'Everything Everywhere All at Once' Sets Release Date In India

Mumbai, September 1 - One of the biggest Hollywood blockbusters of the year, Everything Everywhere All at Once, starring Michelle Yeoh is finally coming to the Indian theaters. The absurdist comedy-drama is the highest-grossing film for A24 studio with over $100 million worldwide against the budget of $25 million.

Ever since the film was released in March of this year, the fans in India have been enquiring about its release in the country. And now, the Mumbai-based Impact Films is bringing this film to the Indian audiences and has set September 16, 2022, release date.



Directed by Daniel Kwan and Daniel Scheinert, "Everything Everywhere All at Once" received some high praise from critics and it is one of the serious contenders for the next year's Academy Awards.

"The film has been passed by CBFC without any cuts thereby ending the reservations and curiosity of several audiences who were worried as to what might get chopped off. It's now the same version that's being watched worldwide", said Ashwani Sharma, CEO, Impact Films.

"We were very clear right from the beginning that we are going to release this film on big screens rather than going straight to digital platforms as this film is a rare cinematic experience that needs to be enjoyed only in theaters. It's not coming on any OTT anytime soon as we may not license it before Academy Awards nominations are revealed", he added.



The movie stars Michelle Yeoh as a Chinese American woman being audited by the IRS who discovers that she must connect with parallel universe versions of herself to prevent a powerful being from causing the destruction of the multiverse. Stephanie Hsu, Ke Huy Quan, Jenny Slate, Harry Shum Jr., James Hong, and Jamie Lee Curtis appear in supporting roles.
