Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao's 'Stree 2' To Go On Floors On July 10

Mumbai, June 26 - The sequel to Maddock Films 2018's blockbuster horror-comedy "Stree" was confirmed recently and the pre-production work is going on at a brisk pace.## Amar Kaushik returns to direct "Stree 2" while Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao will reprise their respective roles in the sequel. On Sunday (June 25), Kaushik shared pictures of Shraddha prepping for the film and now, the shoot details have been revealed. ## According to reliable reports, "Stree 2" will go on floors on July 10 and the first schedule will go on till August 10. It will be shot in Chanderi and Bhopal of Madhya Pradesh state. The remaining schedule will be completed in Mumbai in a studio. ## It is also said that the sequel will be heavy on VFX and the makers have collaborated with the same team which done the VFX of Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon's "Bhediya". The plans are to make "Stree 2" a bigger cinematic adventure than the first part which was itself hugely successful and got praise from critics. ## It is known to everyone that Dinesh Vijan is building his horror-comedy universe and "Stree" was the first film in it, before "Roohi" and "Bhediya" joins it. Hyderabad, June 25 - The release calender of big-budget Pan-Indian movies continues to shake up. Two of the most awaited movies, Ram Charan-starrer Game Changer and Prabhas-fronted Project K are such films which were announced a long time back but the shoot is still not completed. ## "Game Changer", which is being directed by Shankar, does not seem to getting completed anytime soon. Due to Shankar's other commitment to Kamal Haasan's "Indian 2", the shoot for Ram Charan's movie is having long delays, and as per the latest reports, around 80 days of shoot is still pending for the movie. ## The film was announced for Sankranthi 2024 release in multiple languages, but the latest reports have suggested that it won't be ready by that time. It is said that the "Game Changer" release date is now pushed to the Summer of 2024. It is produced by Dil Raju and the makers are unlikely to provide an update anytime soon as there is so much work still pending. ## Prabhas-fronted "Project K" is perhaps the most-anticipated Indian movie in the works at the moment. Directed by Nag Ashwin, the sci-fi action epic boasts a legendary cast that also features Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, Deepika Padukone, and Disha Patani in prominent roles. ## "Project K" is believed to be a two-part feature film, however, the makers haven't made any official announcement regarding the same yet. The movie, produced by C. Aswani Dutt's Vyjayanthi Movies, is currently slated for January 12, 2024, release worldwide in multiple languages. ## The makers didn't mention the release date in their announcement of Kamal Haasan coming on board the film which led to speculations about its postponement. Rumors have been going on for the past few weeks that "Project K" might not be releasing this Sankranthi as it needs a long time in post-production. ## In case of both the aforementioned films move out from Sankranthi 2024 race, then Mahesh Babu's "Guntur Kaaram" remains the only big film to release during this festival. Hyderabad, June 25 - The most-awaited Indian film, Project K gets bigger with the legendary addition to its already solid star cast. Directed by Nag Ashwin, the sci-fi epic is produced by C. Aswani Dutt under the banner of Vyjayanthi Movies. ## The movie, which was announced in February 2020, is led by Pan India superstar Prabhas while legendary Amitabh Bachchan, actress Deepika Padukone, and Disha Patani are also playing prominent roles. Now, the makers have roped in legendary Kamal Haasan to play the lead antagonist role in the film. ## On Sunday (June 25), Vyjayanthi Movies confirmed the veteran actor on board. While the makers haven't revealed the details of KH's role, it is said that he will be playing the main antagonist role to take on Prabhas. Mumbai, June 25 - Dinesh Vijan's Maddock Films has scored a big box office win in the form of the comedy-drama film "Zara Hatke Zara Bachke" starring Vicky Kaushal and Sara Ali Khan. ## Directed by Laxman Utekar, ZHZB has crossed the 100 crores gross mark at the worldwide box office on its 4th Saturday, becoming the 6th Bollywood movie of the year to do so. It is only the second film of Vicky Kaushal as well as Sara Ali Khan to hit 100 crores worldwide gross as lead stars. ## ZHZB has so far scored 76.14 crores net or 89.90 crores gross collection in 23 days. Overseas, the movie has grossed an estimated 10.50 crores, which takes the total worldwide collection to 100.40 crores approx. and emerged as a superhit venture for the makers. ## The movie has shown a stronghold so far despite the competition from other movies. In its opening week, ZHZB grossed 44.10 crores domestically, followed by 30.30 crores in the second week and 11.30 crores in the 3rd week. Blockbuster 'The Kerala Story' Completes 50 Days In Cinemas With Excellent Box Office Collection

Mumbai, June 24 - One of the biggest blockbusters post the covid-19 pandemic, director Sudipto Sen's The Kerala Story has completed 50 days in cinemas, which is no short of miraculous achievement. The movie has been in controversy since its release due to its subject but that couldn't stop it from scoring big numbers at the box office. ## The Kerala Story falls in similar lines as Vivek Agnihotri's last year's blockbuster The Kashmir Files. TKF, which took the opening of just 3.55 crores net, ended up as one of the biggest grosser of 2022 with over 250 crores net collection. ## Unlike TKF, The Kerala Story had a much bigger opening of 8.03 crores net, however, it is most likely to finish below TKF's final total. In 50 days, TKS has scored around 242 crores net (239 crores Hindi) collection, which is the second highest for a Bollywood movie in 2023, after Shah Rukh Khan's Pathaan, and 21st overall of all time in Hindi.## At the overseas box office, the Adah Sharma-fronted drama film has seen a good run with approx. 15.50 crores gross, this takes the total worldwide collection of the film to 302 crores. TKS is currently the 3rd highest-grossing Indian film of the year after Pathaan and Adipurush.## Both, The Kerala Story and The Kashmir Files have been made in similar budgets of around 15-20 crores and both the movies have managed to top 300 crores worldwide gross each. Box Office: Adipurush Sees An Epic Fall After Opening Weekend Wonder

Mumbai, June 22 - Director Om Raut's magnum opus Adipurush was one of the most-awaited films of the year and it proved with an excellent opening at the domestic box office. ## The effect of Ramayana, plus the star power of Prabhas worked wonders for the film in the opening weekend despite the negative word of mouth as the movie scored 261 crores gross in India. However, what happened next was unexpected as "Adipurush" slipped to a historic low after the opening weekend wonder. ## Despite the word of mouth being against the film, it was still expected to score at a decent level during the weekdays but it faced a near-complete rejection from the audiences. From Monday to Thursday, "Adipurush" grossed just around 46 crores domestically in all languages, for approx. 307 crores opening week domestic collection.## While the opening week numbers of "Adipurush" are big, the drastic fall during the weekdays has more or less sealed the fate of the film as it will be extremely tough to regain the momentum.
