Hrithik Roshan's 'Fighter' Overseas Advance Booking Opens On Strong Note

Mumbai, January 18 - Bollywood star Hrithik Roshan and director Siddharth's Fighter is getting ready to release on January 25, during the Republic Day weekend. The aerial action thriller marks the third collaboration between the duo and is easily one of the most-anticipated Bollywood films of 2024.

The bookings for Fighter have already opened in some overseas territories and the initial response is strong. According to overseas collection trackers, the movie's pre-sales are nearing $100K for the opening day with more than 7 days left for the release.



The exact pre-sales details will be known shortly once the full-fledged bookings open. However, looking at the early reception, Fighter is up for a big start at the overseas box office. In India, the tickets will go on sale by January 20, and as said, it is expected to open with big numbers.

Produced by Viacom18 Studios and Marflix Pictures, Fighter is an aerial action thriller which takes inspiration from Balakot Air Strike, launched by the Indian Air Force to target terrorist camps in PoK after the cowardly 2019 Pulwama attack on the Indian Army which claimed the lives of 40 brave soldiers.

The film stars Hrithik Roshan, Deepika Padukone, and Anil Kapoor in prominent roles as Air Force officers alongside Karan Singh Grover, Akshay Oberoi, Sanjeeda Sheikh, Rishabh Sawhney (main villain), and Ashutosh Rana. It will be released on January 25, in the regular and the IMAX format.
