Director Prashanth Neel Clarifies On Salaar's Rumoured Connection With KGF Franchise
Bangalore, November 28 - Director Prashanth Neel has been working Salaar: Ceasefire - Part 1, starring superstar Prabhas, for the last two years. It is the director's next after the Yash-fronted monstrous blockbuster "KGF: Chapter 2" which was released last year. ## The film is currently in the final stage of post-production as the makers are gearing up for the launch of the trailer on December 1st while the movie will be hitting big screens on December 22nd. It will be a two-part release, and the second part will resume filming early next year. ## Ever since "Salaar" was announced, there have been rumours that it is connected to the KGF franchise which has raised expectations further. However, the makers have been denying such reports and now, Prashanth Neel has himself clarified the rumoured connection between the two films. ## During a recent interview with Pinkvilla, the blockbuster director said that "Both (Salaar and KGF" are different stories, different emotions with different styles of story-telling. Audiences should not expect another KGF from Salaar - Salaar is a world of its own, it has got its own emotions and characters. I hope people see Salaar for the story that it sets up. We have set the tone of Salaar from the first scene itself". ## Neel also revealed some details about the film and said that it is a story of two friends who become the biggest enemies. The complete story will be told in two parts with the first part "Salaar: Ceasefire" setting the tone. Prabhas plays the title role alongside Prithviraj Sukumaran, Shruti Haasan, Jagapathi Babu, and others in key roles. ## Stay tuned...
