Box Office: Manjummel Boys Creates History On Second Sunday

Kochi, March 3 - Malayalam survival thriller film Manjummel Boys has created history at the box office on its second Sunday. The Chidambaram S Poduval's directorial flick breached the double-digit single-day collection domestically for the first time for a Malayalam movie.

On its second Sunday, Manjummel Boys crossed 10+ crores gross collection which is the biggest single-day total at the domestic box office in the original Malayalam language. This takes the film's total India gross to over 55 crores in just 11 days.



Manjummel Boys is turning into a box office tsunami as it has crossed 90 crores gross mark at the worldwide box office through the second Sunday. Until Saturday, the movie grossed around 35 crores overseas and is having another big day today.

The movie will be topping 100 crores gross worldwide in the next couple of days to become only the 4th Malayalam title to achieve the feat. A couple of days back, it looked like the film would top 100 crores in the third weekend but the sensational performance over the weekend, especially in Tamil Nadu, will take it to the milestone much before than expected.
