Hyderabad, December 19 - The final trailer of Prabhas-fronted Salaar: Part 1 - Ceasefire garnered over 100 million views across all languages in the first 24 hours. Termed as the Release Trailer, it was received by the fans wholeheartedly and it has increased the anticipation further. ## Hombale Films officially announced on social media that "Salaar" release trailer scored 101+ million views in all languages across social media platforms in the first 24 hours. In addition, it got 1.6+ million likes and is trading at number on YouTube. ## On YouTube, the trailer scored over 72 million views in all versions. The Hindi version scored 32+ million views, followed by 21.50+ million views in the original Telugu language while other versions clocked over 18.50 million views in the first 24 hours. ## Meanwhile, the first trailer of "Salaar", which was released earlier this month, is the most watched Indian film trailer on YouTube in the first 24 hours with over 116 million views in all languages, with Hindi trailer being the second most views ever behind Dunki. ## "Salaar" is directed by Prashanth Neel and produced by Hombale Films. Mumbai, December 19 - Director Sandeep Reddy Vanga is on cloud nine after the all-time blockbuster success of action drama Animal starring Ranbir Kapoor. The film has so far grossed close to 850 crores worldwide and is on its way to finishing over 900 crores. ## Animal concludes with the announcement of its sequel titled Animal Park which will be darker than the first part. Mumbai, December 19 - Director Prashanth Neel has been honest in sharing details about his upcoming blockbuster Salaar: Part 1 - Ceasefire, starring superstar Prabhas in the title role. He has said in the past that his filmmaking style is not giving life lessons to anyone but to entertain the paying audiences. ## Ever since "Salaar" was announced, it has been perceived as a Telugu-Kannada bilingual movie since the movie is produced by Kannada production house Hombale Films and stars a Telugu superstar. However, putting all the pre-assumptions to rest, director Neel confirmed in a recent interview that "Salaar" is an outrightly a Telugu movie and has been dubbed in 4 other languages including Kannada. ## Prithviraj Sukumaran, who is playing one of the main leads, also shared that it was primarily shot in Telugu and then was dubbed into other languages. Mumbai, December 18 - As the release date of superstar Shah Rukh Khan's Dunki and Prabhas-fronted Salaar: Part 1 - Ceasefire is getting closer, the fight for showcasing in single screens is also taking an intense turn, if the latest reports are anything to go by. ## It was recently revealed that in Multiplexes, Dunki will be getting 46% of the total showcasing and 30% will be allotted to Salaar, however, in single screens, the scenario is becoming wild. According to Bollywood Hungama, Pen Marudhar which will release SRK-starrer, has demanded 100% showcasing in single screens across the board. ## The report states that Pen Mrudhar is going all out to secure 100% showcasing outside multiplexes. A source told the website, "Shah Rukh Khan has given 2 films of Rs. 500 crores in 2023 and he deserves exclusivity in single screens. They have given the single-screen owners the option to either give all shows to Dunki or go ahead and support a film of South Origin". ## On the other hand, the Hindi distributor of Salaar, AA Films is open for show sharing, however, their demand is equal to showcasing on single screens. In 2023, it is the 4th movie after Shah Rukh Khan's Pathaan and Jawan, and Sunny Deol-led Gadar 2 to hit this milestone. ## SS Rajamouli's RRR was the first Indian film since the pandemic to score 3 crores footfalls, followed by KGF: Chapter 2. The film crossed this magical mark as I type this in 17 days in all versions, becoming 4th Bollywood film of the year to do so. ## Animal scored a big jump of over 50% on its third Saturday to bring in 12.80 crores net collection, pushing the total to approx. 498 crores in 16 days. The movie has crossed the 500 crore net mark and it will be around 510+ crores at the end of the 17th day. ## The action drama has crossed 450 crores net in the original Hindi version in 16 days and has all the possibilities to enter the 500 crores club in the next couple of weeks. Mumbai, December 17 - Vicky Kaushal's maiden film with director Meghna Gulzar Sam Bahadur has emerged as a successful venture despite clashing with Ranbir Kapoor-led action drama Animal which is running riot at the domestic as well as the worldwide box office. ## Sam Bahadur, a biographical war drama film based on the life of India's first field marshal Sam Manekshaw, has crossed the 100 crores gross mark on its 17th day at the global box office. The movie scored approx. 105 crores gross through the third Sunday. ## Produced by RSVP Movies, Sam Bahadur has minted approx. 90.50 crores gross (approx. 76.60 crores net) in India and an estimated 14.50 crores overseas in the first 17 days. The movie is heading towards finishing over 80 crores net collection, which will make it Vicky's 4th biggest grosser domestically.## The film has found appreciation among its target audiences though it could have done much better had it been released solo. Chennai, December 16 - Blockbuster Tamil director Lokesh Kanagaraj will next be directing superstar Rajinikanth in an action-packed entertainer, tentatively titled Thalaivar 171. The film marks the maiden film of the duo, and director Lokesh has planned to make it a high-octane action thriller which Rajinikanth hasn't done in a long time. ## Thalaivar 171 will be a Pan India release and for this, director Lokesh is in the process of locking a Bollywood star for an extended role. Over the last few weeks, there have been rumours that the filmmaker approached superstar Shah Rukh Khan for a key role in the movie, however, it wasn't confirmed by trusted sources. ## Now, according to a report in Pinkvilla, SRK was indeed approached for the movie but he politely declined the offer. It is said that SRK doesn't want to feature in an extended role though he has huge respect for legendary Rajinikanth. The Jawan actor declined the offer saying that he is focussing on doing standalone movies as he has done a few cameo appearances over the last couple of years and is not interested in doing anymore at this point. ## The report further added that even though SRK is not doing Thalaivar 171, he has shown interest in doing a standalone movie with Lokesh Kanagraj if he wants and come up with a good script. The duo might collaborate after some time in the future. ## Lokesh, meanwhile, has discussed the same part with Ranveer Singh now and the actor is showing keen interest in coming on board. Mumbai, December 16 - The stage is set for the biggest box office clash of the year to cheer up the Christmas 2023 weekend in the form of Shah Rukh Khan's Dunki and Prabhas-fronted Salaar: Part 1 - Ceasefire, releasing a day apart on December 21 and 22, respectively. ## Dunki, a comedy-drama based on illegal immigration, marks the maiden collaboration between the two giants of Bollywood cinema, SRK and director Rajkumar Hirani. It has been one of the most-anticipated films of the year and the fans are eager to witness this magical on-screen combo in theaters. ## Telugu superstar Prabhas teamed up with Kannada filmmaker Prashanth Neel for the first time on Salaar, an A-rated action drama about two best friends who turned biggest enemies. It story of the film will be completed in two parts, with the first part titled Salaar: Ceasefire releasing on December 22nd. ## Unlike Dunki, which will be released in just one language, Salaar is a Pan India film scheduled to hit in multiple languages. In Hindi, the movie managed to score decent sales by selling 218.5K tickets worth approximately 5.60 crores gross. ## The bookings for both movies are strong for the respective genre and that set the stage for big openings at the box office. SRK is coming after two big blockbusters and looking all set to score a hat-trick of success with the upcoming comedy-drama. ## Dunki will be hitting worldwide theaters on December 21st and a week before, the makers have completed the censorship formalities.
