Allu Arjun's 'Pushpa 2 - The Rule' Scores Record Theatrical Business In Hindi

Hyderabad, April 17 - Telugu superstar Allu Arjun's highly-awaited action drama Pushpa 2 - The Rule is set to unleash at the Pan India box office on August 15, 2024. The movie is a sequel to AA's Pan India success, Pushpa - The Rise, directed by Sukumar.

Pushpa - The Rise was a huge success in the dubbed Hindi version, scoring over 100 crores net collection and now, there is tremendous hype for the second part as trade's expectations have done multifold regarding its Hindi box office.



It was recently revealed that Anil Thadani's AA Films has acquired the North India theatrical rights of the sequel at a record price. According to a report by Pinkvilla, the North India theatrical rights of Pushpa 2 have been acquired by Anil Thadani on an advance basis for an earth-shattering sum of Rs 200 crore.

This is said to be the biggest-ever theatrical deal in North India, even topping the pre-pandemic world biz too. The ever-rising popularity of Allu Arjun and the brand value of the franchise are the main reasons behind this massive deal.

Pushpa 2 is directed by Sukumar, and produced by Mythri Movie Makers and Sukumar Writings. The movie stars Allu Arjun in the title role alongside Rashmika Mandanna, and Fahadh Faasil, among others. It will be released on August 15, in Telugu, Hindi, Malayalam, Kannada, and Tamil languages.
