Box Office: Shaitaan Crosses 100 Crore India Net

Mumbai, March 17 - Director Vikas Bahl's supernatural horror thriller Shaitaan has entered the 100 crores net club on its 10th day and becomes the second Bollywood movie of 2024 after Hrithik Roshan's Fighter to do so. ## Starring Ajay Devgn, Jyothika, R. Madhavan, and Janki Bodiwala, Shaitaan scored approximately 93.30 crores net through the second Saturday (9 days) and is looking to score another 9+ crores net on Sunday which will take the total collection to over 102+ crores. ## It has become the 119th film ever to top 100 crores net in the Hindi language. For Ajay Devgn, Shaitaan is his 13th movie, the second for R. Madhavan, and the first for Jyothika to achieve the milestone. Director Bahl also has his second film after Super 30 in this prestigious club. ## The worldwide collection of the movie is nearing 150 crores after the second weekend. The domestic gross after the second weekend is around 120+ crores while overseas will be around 25 crores for 145+ crores worldwide cume in just 10 days. Kochi, March 15 - Reality-based survival thriller Manjummel Boys has dethroned another similar genre film 2018 to become the highest-grossing Malayalam movie of all-time at the worldwide box office. 2018 had a short stay at the top for nearly a year.## The latest Malayalam sensation is crossing 180 crores gross worldwide as I type this, surpassing the lifetime collection of the previous topper which minted approximately 180 crores. Manjummel Boys has taken just 23 days to emerge as the new box office king of Malayalam cinema. ## Through the first three weeks (22 days), Manjummel Boys minted approximately 178.30 crores globally, including an estimated 115.30 crores in India and 63 crores overseas. Having crossed 2018's final total on its 23rd day, the Chidambaram S. Poduval's directorial now eyes the untouchable milestone of 200 crores worldwide gross yet. ## Manjummel Boys recently claimed the top-grossing Malayalam movie at the domestic box office, again beating 2018 which grossed around 110.50 crores in India. Mumbai, March 14 - Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon's romantic-comedy Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya has topped 100 crores gross collection at the Indian box office, becoming the second Bollywood film of 2024 to achieve the feat. ## Directed by Amit Joshi, and Aradhana Sah, TBMAUJ topped 100 crores domestic mark in its 5th week as the current total stands at 100+ crores gross (84+ crores net). The movie has shown a consistent hold over the last couple of weeks despite new releases though the pace has slowed down as it is nearing its box office run. ## At the worldwide box office, the Maddock Films and Jio Studios production has crossed 140 crores gross mark, including an estimated 40 crores overseas collection which is a good total. It is Shahid Kapoor's third and Kriti Sanon's fourth biggest worldwide grosser. Mumbai, March 13 - Ajay Devgn-fronted supernatural thriller Shaitaan has entered the 100 crores gross club at the worldwide box office. Directed by Vikas Bahl, the movie surpassed the 100 crores gross mark on its fifth day, Tuesday. ## Shaitaan has grossed around 80+ crores in India and an estimated 20 crores overseas for 100+ crores worldwide in 5 days. It is the third Bollywood movie after Fighter and Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya, and the seventh Indian film of 2024 to hit the milestone. ## Produced by Ajay Devgn Films, Jio Studios and Panorama Studios, Shaitaan is Devgn's third consecutive movie as well as in the post-pandemic era to surpass the century mark at the global box office after Drishyam 2 and Bholaa. Kochi, March 13 - The Malayalam film industry has a new industry hit in the form of survival thriller Manjummel Boys. The Chidambaram's directorial has become the highest-grossing Malayalam movie of all time at the domestic box office, beating last year's 2018. ## Based on a true incident, Manjummel Boys has surpassed 2018's final domestic collection of 110.50 crores gross at the time of penning this piece. The movie minted around 109.50 crores through the third Tuesday (19 days) and with today's collection, it will be around 112 crores gross. ## Apart from becoming the biggest Malayalam domestic grosser, Manjummel Boys is also inches away from topping 2018's 180 crores gross collection to become the biggest Mollywood worldwide grosser. It will be around 173 crores at the end of the end by 4th Friday, it will claim the top spot. ## The movie has been creating history at the box office since its big-screen debut on February 22. The movie achieved the milestone in its 5th week. ## Directed by Girish A. D., Premalu has been a kind of revolution at the box office. Made on a budget of around 10 crores, the movie faced competition from bigger films and despite that, it has been showing incredible legs at the box office. ## In India, Premalu has minted approximately 62+ crores gross while the overseas collection is an estimated 38 crores, for 100+ crores worldwide total after 33 days of its run. The movie was recently released in the Telugu dubbed version and has grossed over 2.50 crores in 5 days so far. ## It is the 5th Malayalam movie of all time to enter the 100 crores gross club. Los Angeles, March 13 - Robert Pattinson-led The Batman Part II release date has been postponed by a year and it will now be debuting in theatres in 2026. ## The sequel to director Matt Reeves' superhero movie The Batman was first announced during CinemaCon in April 2022 and in January 2023, the movie was officially scheduled for October 2025 release and has now been pushed back to October 2, 2026. ## According to The Hollywood Reporter, the delay in the film was caused by the writers' strike last year.
