1000+ Crore Pre-Release Business For Allu Arjun's 'Pushpa 2 - The Rule'

Hyderabad, October 21 - Superstar Allu Arjun's hugely anticipated action drama Pushpa 2 - The Rule has entered the 1000 crores club even before its release. Directed by Sukumar, the movie has been in massive demand in the trade which is leading to record-breaking pre-release business. ## It was recently reported how the pre-release theatrical business had been booming for Pushpa 2 across different regions of the country and worldwide. According to the latest trade reports, the theatrical rights of the movie have been valued at around 600 crores. ## In Telugu states (Andhra Pradesh and Telangana) and North India, the theatrical rights have been sold at 375-400 crores which is massive. The rest of India's business is believed to be around 100 crores while overseas rights business is approximately 125 crores, for total worldwide pre-release theatrical business is 600+ crores. ## Apart from the theatrical, the Pushpa 2 makers have managed to fetch record-breaking digital and satellite deals. As reported previously, the streaming rights of the movie sold to Netflix for a record 275 crores while music rights were sold for 65 crores and television rights sold for 85 crores.## The total pre-release theatrical and non-theatrical business of Pushpa 2 - The Rule is 1025+ crores which is the all-time highest for an Indian movie. Mumbai, October 21 - Ajay Devgn-fronted cop action drama Singham Again is easily one of the most-anticipated Indian movies of the year and excitement doubled when it was revealed recently that superstar Salman Khan will have a cameo as Chulbul Pandey in this Rohit Shetty's directorial. ## However, the latest report suggests that the fans will have to wait a little longer to see Bhaijaan in Rohit Shetty's Cop Universe. According to a report by Bollywood Hungama, Salman's cameo in Singham 3 has been dropped due to personal reasons.## It is said that Salman Khan was all set to shoot for his Singham Again cameo on Monday, October 14, at Golden Tobacco in Mumbai but it was cancelled owing to the demise of a politician friend of the actor, Baba Siddiqui. Rohit and Ajay then reportedly had discussions internally and felt that it would be insensitive to request Salman Khan to shoot amid all the controversy. ## Bollywood Hungama reports that there is a possibility of a backshot of Salman Khan's Chulbul Pandey in the post-credit scene, however, there is no clarity on the same yet. Initially, it was revealed that Salman would appear in the post-credit scene only before having a full-fledged movie in the Cop Universe in the future. ## Singham Again is directed by Rohit Shetty and it is the third movie of the blockbuster franchise and 5th in Shetty's Cop Universe. With this, it has become the 12th highest-grossing movie ever in North America.## As said, the movie is in its last leg of the theatrical run and will finish as the 12th biggest grosser in the home market. Los Angeles, October 19 - Disney's upcoming animated musical adventure film Moana 2 is gearing up to hit the big screens in November last week of 2024 and it is expected to make a big splash at the box office. ## According to Deadline, the sequel is tracking to earn $105 million - $115 million over its 5-day Wednesday to Sunday opening weekend, and $75 million - $82 million of that during its Friday-Sunday weekend at the domestic box office. Mumbai, October 18 - Marvel Studios and Sony Pictures high-awaited Venom: The Last Dance is set to hit the Indian theatres a day earlier than its domestic release. It is directed by Kelly Marcel and is the last film in the Venom franchise. ## Starring Tom Hardy in the title role, Venom 3 has been confirmed to be released on October 24 in English, Hindi, Telugu, and Tamil languages. The pre-sales for the same opened on October 18, almost a week before its big screen debut. ## Venom: The Last Dance is a sequel to Venom (2018) and Venom: Let There Be Carnage (2021), and the fifth film in Sony's Spider-Man Universe (SSU).
