Maddock Films Announces 8 New Films In The Horror-Comedy Universe With Release Dates

Mumbai, January 2 - Producer Dinesh Vijan's Maddock Films is upping the ante and creating its own MCU in the form of a horror-comedy universe. The studio has already released 4 films of the horror-comedy universe with Stree 2 being the game-changer after the massive blockbuster success at the box office last year.

The response the previous 4 films got at the box office made Maddock Films dream big and in that aspect, the studio has announced 8 more films in the horror-comedy universe which will be interconnected to each other. The universe will conclude in 2028 with the final two films, along the lines of Avengers movies.



Among the 8 new films announced, the studio has confirmed Bhediya 2 for 2026 release and Stree 3 for 2027 debut on the big screen while the Munjya sequel is also greenlit for 2027 launch. The first to release is Ayushmann Khurrana and Rashmika Mandanna's Thama, on Diwali this year.
