The day I saw War's trailer, I was excited about this movie. I was not at all disappointed with this movie in any aspect! It was way better than I thought.
The characters were very good.
Hrithik Roshan, that played as Kabir, finally got a chance to be what he deserves in a movie. A powerful and clever character as well. Powerful both physically and character-wise.
Tiger Shroff, did a very good job at natural acting in his character. The relationship between Kabir and Khalid was interesting, and really emotional at the end.
Vanni, who had a minor role as Naina, still had a very good role. Her story was really emotional. She is not for just a love story plot whatsoever.
The best part about the movie, the story. It was really well written! in my opinion. Story and mysteries build up from the get go. Things finally start to make sense without any complex mathematics thanks to the good execution.
The moment I realised the Khalid, that I had seen all along was not actually Khalid, I realised the story is unpredictable. Usually, in movies, famous actors get a role that is pretty safe. Even if they die, they don't with some not so good way. But not with this movie. What happened with Khalid, did happen. However, something like this happens to Kabir as well but the explanation is believable.
The Antagonists were equally clever which, even if for a second, made me think Protagonists weren't gonna win. The main antagonist wasn't even the one they were trying to take down for so long. The main antagonist was way more intimidating.The visuals were gorgeous! The camera angles along with good sound effects made the experience even better. The visuals had really gotten better. The action scenes were really well done! With maybe some changes, this can compete with international movies.
The sound effects worked to make us feel when is the action time, relax time as well as the time the plot twists happen.
The only two songs it has were lit! They had very good music and singing. Vishal Dadlani, as always, had composed another memorable song.
The visuals for the music, is as always at it's best. Bollywood songs might not have that great movie, but the songs always have good suiting visuals.
The dance, what new can I say about this? There is Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff, the two who had taken over dance in Bollywood. They are, of course, excellent in their jobs.
The characters actually learn from what they have experienced earlier from others. There were some really emotional scenes as well with Naina, Ruhi and Khalid.
This movie was, overall, just perfect for me, I can't see any flaw in this movie.
If this what movies in Bollywood are gonna become, I'm just very excited for them. This was just an awesome movie and one of the best I'd ever seen. Praise the ones who worked in this movie!
