Varun Dhawan's 'Baby John' Trailer Scores 79+ Million Views In The First 24 Hours

Mumbai, December 11 - Varun Dhawan's anticipated action thriller Baby John is hitting the big screen in two weeks on December 25, on the occasion of Christmas. The trailer of the film was launched on launched on December 9 and it received a fantastic response. ## The 3-minute-plus long action-packed trailer scored a huge 79+ million views across social media platforms in the first 24 hours. On YouTube alone, the trailer generated 52+ million real-time views, making it the most-watched Hindi trailer of the year on the first full day. ## It has beaten the viewership of Ajay Devgn's Singham Again which also scored around 52 million on YouTube in the first 24 hours. Allu Arjun's Pushpa 2 - The Rule trailer is the third most watched Hindi trailer of the year with 49.4 million, followed by Kartik Aaryan's Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 at number 4 with 46 million views.## Baby John is the adaptation of Thalapathy Vijay's Tamil blockbuster Theri (2016) which was directed by Atlee. Mumbai, December 11 - Pan India superstar Prabhas-fronted Kalki 2898 AD is the most popular Indian movie of 2024, according to IMDb which released the top 10 Indian films of the year released before November 25. The movies released in December are not included in the list. ## Directed by Nag Ashwin, Kalki is one of the biggest Indian blockbusters of the year and will finish the year as the second highest-grossing Indian title at the worldwide box office behind Pushpa 2 - The Rule. It grossed over 1000 crores globally, including over 750 crores gross in India. ## Another monstrous blockbuster and highest-grossing film in Hindi, Stree 2 starring Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao, is the second most popular Indian film of the year. Ranbir Kapoor Confirms 'Animal Park' To Start In 2027; Hints At Third Part

Mumbai, December 5 - After the historic blockbuster success of Gadar 2, Bollywood star Sunny Deol will next be seen in Telugu director Gopichand Malineni's action drama Jaat and the teaser for the same has been launched exclusively in theatres with superstar Allu Arjun's Pushpa 2 - The Rule on December 5. ## The over-a-minute-long teaser is action-packed with seetmaar dialogues and it promises a solid follow to Gadar 2 for Sunny Deol. The makers have also confirmed that Jaat will be released in April 2025, however, the exact date is not revealed officially. ## Meanwhile, according to the report by Bollywood Hungama, Jaat will be released in cinemas on April 10, 2025. The date is significant as Baisakhi is celebrated on April 13 by the members of the Punjabi community and makers are looking to cash in on this big opportunity since Sunny Deol carries a huge fan following in Punjab. ## Earlier, there were reports that Jaat would be released on Republic Day 2025 and the makers did reportedly also consider the same, however, due to the longer-than-expected time in the shot and post-production, they have now finalized the April 2025 release for this mass entertainer. ## Jaat will clash with Prabhas-fronted horror-comedy The Raja Saab which is already scheduled for April 10 release. Mumbai, December 5 - Malayalam star Fahadh Faasil is set for his Bollywood debut with director Imtiaz Ali's next film, touted to be an unconventional love story, in line with the genre Imtiaz is popularly known for. He has already lined up the sequel to Pati, Patni Aur Woh and potentially Aashiqui 3 as well. ## At a time when sequels to successful films have almost become a guarantee of emerging hits, Kartik has reportedly started talks with filmmaker Luv Ranjan, with whom he has worked on 4 films, to make the second part of Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety, which was a huge success for the duo in 2018. ## According to the report by Peepingmoon.com, Kartik and Luv Ranjan have initiated talks for Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety 2, with plans to start filming in the second half of 2025. Box Office: 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3' and 'Singham Again' Collectively Top 500 Crore Net Collection

Mumbai, December 1 - After a dull couple of months post-Stree 2's mega success in August, the festival of Diwali brought good luck for the Bollywood film industry in November, thanks to the two of the most-waited films - Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 and Singham Again. ## Rohit Shetty's directorial cop action drama Singham 3, starring Ajay Devgn, was the bigger film. However, it was Kartik Aaryan's horror comedy that rocked the show and won the clash with a superb collection in India and worldwide. SA though wasn't too far and did reasonably well at the box office.## Even after 4 weeks of release, both films doing well on a day-wise basis at the domestic box office, and thanks to that, their combined net collection has topped 500 crores making it the biggest Diwali ever at the Indian box office. ## Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 has emerged as a super hit and through the 5th Saturday (30th day), it has minted approximately 255+ crores net collection. On the other hand, Singham Again is an average-to-hit venture with around 245 crores net collection in the same number of days. ## As reported earlier, BB3 is the biggest grosser for Kartik Aaryan as well as for director Anees Bazmee and the rest of the main cast. Vicky Kaushal's 'Chhaava' and Shahid Kapoor's 'Deva' Get New Release Dates

Mumbai, November 27 - Vicky Kaushal's historical action drama Chhaava has been postponed to February 2025. The film, directed by Laxman Utekar, was supposed to hit the big screen on December 6 and was to clash with Allu Arjun's Pushpa 2 - The Rule before Maddock Films decided to shift the release. ## Produced by Dinesh Vijan of Maddock Films, Chhaava will now be released on February 14. The release date holds special significance since it coincides with Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Jayanti on 19 February. The movie is an adaptation of the Marathi novel Chhava by Shivaji Sawant and is based on the life of Maratha king Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, played by Vicky Kaushal.## Chhaava also stars Rashmika Mandanna as Maharani Yesubai Bhonsale and Akshaye Khanna as Aurangzeb along with others in key roles.## Meanwhile, the postponement of Chhaava to February 14, 2025, means Shahid Kapoor and Pooja Hegde's action thriller Deva has been moved up by a couple of weeks. Directed by Rosshan Andrrews, the movie will now be released on January 31 after getting preponed from February 14. ## Deva, produced by Roy Kapur Films and Zee Studios, will be Shahid Kapoor's next theatrical release after this year's romantic comedy Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya which was a box office hit. Box Office: 'Kal Ho Naa Ho' Re-Release Second Weekend Collection

Mumbai, November 25 - Shah Rukh Khan, Saif Ali Khan, and Preity Zinta-starrer two-decade-old romantic comedy Kal Ho Naa Ho continued to impress in its re-release run at the box office amid the few other choices available. ## Directed by Nikhil Advani, the movie was re-released on November 15 and scored approximately 2.40 crores gross collection in the first week. It remained the number 1 choice in the second weekend among the re-release titles and grossed solid around 1.30 crores. ## After 10 days, the total re-release collection of KHNH is around 3.70 crores gross (3.15 crores net), making it already one of the biggest Bollywood re-release grossers of the year. Box Office: 'Karan Arjun' and 'Pushpa - The Rise' Re-Release Opening Weekend Collection

Mumbai, November 24 - There were a couple of re-releases this weekend at the Hindi box office in the form of Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan-fronted cult classic Karan Arjun and Allu Arjun-starrer Pushpa - The Rise of which the sequel is gearing up for December 5 release worldwide. ## Karan Arjun, directed by Rakesh Roshan, had a wide re-release with over 2000 shows scheduled daily during the opening weekend. However, the movie couldn't replicate the success of the recent Bollywood re-releases and ended with the opening of around 1 crore gross collection. ## There wasn't much movement in the collection after the opening day of around 30 lakh gross as Saturday figures were almost similar to Friday and on Sunday, the movie is expected to gross around 40 lakh. With a not-so-encouraging opening weekend after a wide re-release, Karan Arjun is unlikely to have much impact during the weekdays. ## Allu Arjun's Pushpa - The Rise also had a wide re-release this weekend in Hindi and managed to gross around 70 lakh in the opening weekend. There wasn't much awareness about the re-release of the film among the audiences so whatever it has earned is a bonus. ## The Sukumar's directorial, which was originally released in 2021, grossed around 20 lakh on its first day of re-release, followed by 25 lakh each on Saturday and Sunday. Box Office: 'Kal Ho Naa Ho' Set To Win Weekend Against 'Karan Arjun' In Re-Release

Mumbai, November 23 - Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan's two cult classics, romantic comedy Kal Ho Naa Ho and reincarnation action drama Karan Arjun which also has superstar Salman Khan, got re-released recently but there seems to be not much interest for the letter. ## Karan Arjun (1995), directed by Rakesh Roshan, got one of the widest re-releases for a Bollywood movie, however, the anticipation seems isn't that much the makers hoped for as it is not getting much audience in theatres. ## The film grossed approximately 30 lakh on its opening day which is, even though among the top openings for a Bollywood re-release, is nowhere near the expected start considering the wide release. It is not showing much improvement on Saturday with collection expected to be in the same range as Friday. ## Meanwhile, Kal Ho Naa Ho (2003), which was re-launched on November 15, looks like will be winning the re-release race against Karan Arjun despite a much smaller release. After grossing approximately 2.40 crores in the first week, the film started the second weekend with around 20 lakh gross collection on the second Friday (8th day). ## The Nikkhil Advani's directorial has taken a lead over Karan Arjun on Saturday as it is expected to gross over 50 lakh.
