South Korean Star Don Lee Hints At Possible Collaboration With Indian Superstar Prabhas

Hyderabad, November 10 - South Korean star Don Lee, famous for movies like Eternals and Train to Busan, has shaken up the internet in the Indian subcontinent with his latest Instagram post about his possible collaboration with one of India's biggest stars Prabhas.## The actor has been in the news lately in India as rumours emerged sometime back that he might be doing director Sandeep Reddy Vanga's highly-anticipated action drama movie Spirit starring Prabhas. Now, Lee has given the fresh air to those rumours and this time with strong reasons. ## On Saturday night (November 9), the "The Roundup" star posted an Instagram Story sharing the poster of Prabhas-fronted Salaar: Part 2 with a thumbs-up emoji. However, it is unclear whether it was just a casual post or he was genuinely hinting at a collaboration with an Indian superstar. ## The Salaar team has reportedly denied the rumours of Lee being part of the movie, so it might be Spirit as has been widely speculated that he would be playing the antagonist role in this cop action thriller. Mumbai, November 10 - Director Anees Bazmee's horror-comedy Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 emerged as a big success and is marching towards the 300 crores club at the worldwide box office after becoming the highest-grossing film of the franchise and for actor Kartik Aaryan. ## With over 20 crores gross collection, BB3 had a huge second Saturday worldwide, pushing total cume to over 275+ crores, including approximately 220 crores gross (183 crores net) in India and 55 crores overseas in 9 days, as the fourth biggest Bollywood grosser of 2024.## It has surpassed the lifetime collection of 2022's Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 (265.50 crores gross) to become the highest-grossing film in the Bhool Bhulaiyaa franchise. Box Office: 'Singham Again' and 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3' Second Saturday Early Estimates

Mumbai, November 9 - Kartik Aaryan's horror-comedy Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 exploded on its second Saturday at the domestic box office with a surprisingly better-than-expected jump of over 50% today from the second Friday which is excellent.## According to the early estimates, BB3 is heading for 15-16 crore net second Saturday, which is a drop of around 60% from the first Saturday which was a holiday. The jump is seen everywhere be it multiplex or single screens as the movie has taken a lead over Singham Again by a good margin. ## The second Saturday collection of the movie pushes the total collection of the movie to 182+ crores in 9 days. The second weekend is now heading for 40 (+/-) crores net as the movie has an outside chance of topping 200 crores net by the second Sunday if there is another decent jump again. ## The Ajay Devgn-starrer Singham Again also has a very good jump of around 45% on its second Saturday though the movie is now legging behind BB3 in day-wise trend. As per the early estimates, SA is expected to score 11.50-12 crores net collection today, pushing the total to around 192+ crores net in 9 days.## The second weekend of Singham 3 is now heading for 33-35 crores net which is decent. Maddock Films 'Chhaava' Starring Vicky Kaushal Averts Clash With Allu Arjun 'Pushpa 2 - The Rule'

Mumbai, November 9 - A major box office clash which was shaping up to light up the big screens in the first week of December 2024 has reportedly been averted as Maddock Films' potential blockbuster Chhaava is no longer coming in the way of highly-anticipated Pushpa 2 - The Rule, starring superstar Allu Arjun. ## The Vicky Kaushal-fronted historical action drama was scheduled to be released on December 6, a day after Pushpa 2, but is now looking for a new date to hit the big screens. According to Peepingmoon.com, the Laxman Utekar's directorial is now contemplating two release dates for arrival. ## While the official new release date is yet to be locked, it is said that the makers are weighing either December 20, during Christmas festival weekend or during the Sankranthi festival weekend on January 10 for its release. The final call is expected to be made in the next couple of weeks. ## The Christmas 2024 weekend has some competition as a couple of biggies scheduled to be released at the Hindi box office in the form of the Hollywood title Mufasa: The Lion King (December 20) and Varun Dhawan's hugely-awaited Baby John (December 25) in addition to Pushpa 2 which can have a long run at the box office. ## For Sankranti 2025, there is currently superstar Ram Charan's Game Changer scheduled to release on January 10 in multiple languages, including Hindi in which the movie is expected to do well. Mumbai, November 8 - Ajay Devgn's cop action drama Singham Again begins second weekend with a decent hold after the good first week collection of 173 crores net. ## The movie is witnessing a drop of around 10%-15% on its second Friday from Thursday for an estimated 7.50-8crores net collection, pushing total to over 180 crores net in 8 days. The second weekend is probably heading for 30 crores net. ## The drop in the second weekend is likely to be around 75% which is harsh but is expected given the mixed word of mouth and clash with Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 which is now turning into the first choice of the moviegoers. SA, however, will still do enough to cross 200 crores net by Sunday. ## Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, starring Kartik Aaryan kicks off the second weekend with a strong hold, dropping under 10% for an estimated 8.50-9 crores net collection on its 8th day/second Friday. Mumbai, November 8 - The 2 Bollywood Diwali tentpoles, Singham Again and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 have had a very good first week at the box office as both the films combined delivered 500 crores gross collection worldwide, making it one of the biggest for Bollywood films. ## Directed by Rohit Shetty, Singham 3 scored the second biggest first week for a Bollywood movie of 2024. At the domestic box office, the movie minted approximately 207 crores gross (173 crores net) while the overseas collection is an estimated 53 crores for a worldwide cume of 260 crores approx. ## On a larger note, Singham Again proved to be the biggest first-week grosser for Ajay Devgn as well as for director Rohit Shetty. The movie received mixed talks and clashed with Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, and despite that, it faired well. It will be topping 300 crores worldwide in the second weekend. ## Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, on the other hand, is easily the winner of the clash after the first week. After the fantastic weekend, the horror-comedy showed a better trend during the weekdays and ended the first week's collection with approximately 190 crores gross (158 crores net) in India and an estimated 50 crores overseas for the worldwide cume of 240 crores gross.## The combined total of both movies is approximately 500 crores worldwide, including a little under 400 crores gross (397 crores gross) domestically. OTT Platforms To Blame For Singham Again and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 Clash

Mumbai, November 8 - It was recently reported how the OTT platforms have been controlling the theatrical releases of Bollywood films by signing pre-contracts for the streaming release, and this practice has been admitted by producer Bhushan Kumar whose Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 made to clash with director Rohit Shetty's Singham Again. ## The box office clash between BB3 and Singham Again didn't make sense as both films were hugely anticipated and were seen as potential blockbusters. While both movies are doing well at the box office, one must admit that their overall potential was cut short by the unwanted clash due to their streaming partners. ## Producer Bhushan Kumar of T-Series said in an interview with Bollywood Hungama that both parties attempted to avoid the clash as both franchises are highly valuable and hold significant audiences. However, despite the intention to not release the movies on the same day, Kumar admitted that contractual constraints with OTT platforms and creative factors made it unavoidable. ## "Nowadays, there are some constraints, like pre-commitments with OTT platforms. If you try to change those dates, the OTT platform doesn't allow it. That was our constraint, and they probably had similar ones", the filmmaker said. BB3 post-theatrical rights are with Netflix while Amazon Prime Video has Singham 3. ## Kumar, however, expressed satisfaction over the fact that both movies are performing well against the odds. "So it's okay as long as our film is getting so much love. And it has done enough business that the film is now safe", he added. ## Released during the lucrative Diwali weekend, Singham Again has scored a very good opening week of over 200 crores gross in India and over 250 crores worldwide. After the fantastic weekend, the cop action drama held well during the weekdays despite the mixed reception and clash. ## The Rohit Shetty's directorial, on its first Thursday/7th day, scored an estimated 8.50-9 crores net collection, pushing the total first-week collection to 173 crores net. This is the first week total for Ajay Devgn, beating Golmaal Again which minted approximately 136 crores net. ## Since there is no new release this week, Singham Again can have a second weekend of around 30-35 crores which is about a 70% drop from the first weekend. It is likely to cross the 200 crores net mark by the second Sunday and then, it will be interesting to see how the movie fares thereafter.## Kartik Aaryan's horror-comedy Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 is having a much better trend at the box office and has another solid day. The movie stars Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Ram, Yash as Lankesh, Sai Pallavi as Goddess Sita and Sunny Deol as Hanuman. ## The epic will be released in two parts with the first part coming on Diwali 2026 and part 2 on Diwali 2027. Mumbai, November 5 - Singham Again and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 continue to put a good show at the box office as both movies are looking at solid Tuesday domestically. The former is slightly ahead of BB3 as per trends but not by much which is fantastic. ## According to early estimates, Singham Again is expected to score in the range of 13.50-14 crores net on its first Tuesday (5th day) which is a drop of around 25% from Monday. The hold is good considering the film is coming after the Diwali holiday period. ## Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, on the other hand, is having a neck-to-neck fight with Singham 3 during the weekdays after a solid weekend. As per early estimates, the horror-comedy is expected to score in the range of 13-13.50 crores net. Mumbai, November 5 - Director Rohit Shetty's action entertainer Singham Again has entered the 200 crores club at the worldwide box office in just 4 days, becoming the 4th Bollywood movie of 2024 to achieve the feat after Fighter, Shaitaan, and Stree 2. ## The Ajay Devgn-starrer had a very good first Monday worldwide with approximately 26 crores gross, including 21.50 crores (18 crores net) domestically. This pushed the total collection to approximately 213 crores gross worldwide which includes 167.50 crores gross in India and 45 crores overseas. ## Singham Again is the 6th movie of Ajay Devgn to hit 200 crores worldwide after Tanhaji, Drishyam 2, Golmaal Again, Total Dhamaal, and Shaitaan. If includes RRR and Gangubabi Kathiawadi in which the actor played extended roles, then has a total of 8 movies in the 200 crores club. ## For director Rohit Shetty, the latest hit is the 7th movie to achieve the milestone of 200 crores while for actress Kareena Kapoor also, Singham 3 is her third movie in the prestigious box office club. Box Office: 'Singham Again' and 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3' First Monday Early Estimates

Mumbai, November 4 - After the excellent first weekend with over 120 crores net collection, Ajay Devgn's cop action drama Singham Again scores a strong hold on the crucial first Monday with a drop of around 50% from Sunday which is fantastic considering the movie is coming after strong holiday weekend.## According to early estimates, the Rohit Shetty's directorial venture scored in the range of 17-18 crores net. This might go higher depending on mass belts but still fantastic numbers on the working day and in a major clash. This takes the total collection of the movie to around 139 crores net in 4 days.## The initial word of mouth seemed to be mixed but the strong Monday hold indicates the acceptance of the movie among the audience which is a good sign going forward as the movie has an open run with BB3. The first full week can be 175+ crores net which is fantastic. ## Kartik Aaryan-fronted horror-comedy Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 is also putting up a solid show at the box office and after legging behind Singham Again the opening weekend despite excellent numbers of 106 crores net, the movie has started matching the daily collection. ## Word of mouth for BB3 is positive which was expected to give the movie an edge over Singham Again at some point. According to the early estimates, the film scored in the range of 17-18 crores net. The numbers are pretty much similar to SA today and the exact position will be known by tomorrow morning. ## The total collection of BB3 is around 123+ crores net after 4 days and the first week is headed to 160 crores net which is excellent. As said, there is no new Bollywood film for at least a month so that is a big advantage of both BB3 and SA. Mumbai, November 4 - The Bollywood releases on Diwali 2024, Singham Again and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 have had a big first weekend each at the domestic box office. Both the movies managed to score 100+ crores each and this is the first time that 2 Bollywood films have scored 100 crores net each in the same weekend. ## Singham Again, starring Ajay Devgn along with a strong supporting cast, was the biggest beneficiary during the holiday weekend. The movie scored approximately 121.75 crores net in 3 days and became the 123rd film to enter the 100 crores club in Hindi. ## It is the 14th movie of Ajay Devgn to enter the 100 crore club and the first 100 crore weekend opener for him, beating Golmaal Again which minted approximately 87.60 crores net. Box Office: 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3' First Sunday/Third Day Early Estimates

Mumbai, November 3 - Actor Kartik Aaryan scores his first 100 crores opener in the form of horror-comedy Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 after the movie showed excellent trend during the Diwali weekend despite a major clash with Ajay Devgn's Singham Again. ## After the career-best opening of 35.50 crores net, followed by a minor jump on Saturday, BB3 holds well on Sunday to score an estimated 32-33 crores net collection with a drop of around 10%-15%. This takes the total collection to around 104+ crores net in 3 days. ## The opening weekend collection of BB3 is almost double that of its predecessor which minted approximately 56 crores in the first weekend and 92 crores in the first full week. Mumbai, November 3 - Director Rohit Shetty's cop action drama Singham Again has a fantastic opening weekend at the domestic box office with around 120 crores net which is the highest ever for the director and actor Ajay Devgn. ## After an excellent first 2 days of over 40 crores each, the movie sees a drop of around 20% on Sunday for an estimated 35-36 crores net collection, taking the total to around 120 crores in 3 days. It has surpassed the opening weekend collection of Golmaal Again and Chennai Express to emerge as the biggest opener for Devgn and Shetty, respectively. ## The movie has done very well so far in collecting these numbers despite a major clash with Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 which is equally doing fantastic. The drop might be a little higher but it was always going to be tough for the movie to sustain the collection on Friday or Saturday numbers due to holiday factors and the next day is a working day. ## It all boils down to Monday when the movie will need to hold well to get the benefit of a fantastic weekend and to have long legs at the box office. Mumbai, November 3: Singham Again, despite competing with Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, opened robustly at the box office on November 1, 2024, with an impressive India net collection of 43.70 Cr (producers figure). However, discrepancies in reported figures have led to speculation about the authenticity of these numbers, with some trade analysts citing collections between 38 Cr to 41 Cr for Hindi net. ## Our analysis reveals that the film's tracked gross collection from 13,810 shows on its opening day was 43.44 Cr. Typically, there's a 2%-5% variance between online ticket sales data and actual attendance due to last-minute bookings or ticket sales at the box office after online platforms close. This adjustment pushes the estimated online collection to between 44.30 Cr and 45.61 Cr. ## Moreover, the offline market, which includes single-screen theaters not represented in online booking systems, adds another layer to the collection tally. Historical data from blockbuster releases like "Jawan," "Gadar 2," and "Stree 2" suggest that offline collections can significantly boost total figures. For instance, "Stree 2" tracked collection was 47 Cr gross but later adjusted to nearly 65 Cr Gross due to offline sales. ## The offline market for the Hindi belt is around 20 Cr Gross. Given the Diwali release and competition, it's estimated that "Singham Again" captured about 11 Cr from the offline market, split in a 55:45 ratio with "Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3." With an overall occupancy rate of 65% and considering data from over 100 single-screen theaters, we estimate "Singham Again" garnered approximately 7.50 Cr from this segment.
