Box Office: 'Tumbbad' Re-Release Second Saturday (9th Day) Collection
Mumbai, September 22 - Producer Sohum Shah's folk horror thriller Tumbbad continues to surprise with the superb day-wise trend at the box office since its re-release over a week ago. ## After a good first-week collection of 13.15 crores net, the movie began the second weekend with an excellent jump of over 100% on Friday due to National Cinema Day, scoring approximately 2.75 crores. Tumbbad again showed a fantastic hold on Saturday and stayed over the 2 crore mark. ## On its second Saturday (9th day), the acclaimed flick scored approximately 2.35 crores net, dropping just under 20% from NCD collection. This took the total re-release collection of Tumbbad to approximately 18.25 crores net in 9 days, already around 35% more than the film's lifetime original run (13.50 crores). ## Tumbbad is expected to score a further jump on its third Sunday and will cross the 20 crore net mark in just 10 days.
