Kangana Ranaut's 'Emergency' Gets Censor Certificate

Mumbai, October 17 - Kangana Ranaut's much-awaited biographical drama Emergency has finally received the censor certificate after a long delay, the national award-winning actress confirmed the same on X. ## "We are glad to announce we have received the censor certificate for our movie Emergency, we will be announcing the release date soon. Directed by Shazia Iqbal, the movie is a spiritual sequel to Dhadak (2018), starring Ishaan Khatter, and Janhvi Kapoor. ## Dhadak 2, which is said to be a remake of the Tamil film Pariyerum Perumal (2018), was announced on November 22, 2024, release. Box Office: 'Tumbbad' Re-Release 4 Weeks (28 Days) Collection

Mumbai, October 11 - The folk horror thriller Tumbbad has eased down at the box office after a superb 4-week re-release run which saw it becoming the biggest re-release grosser ever at the Indian box office by a very good margin. ## Directed by Rahi Anil Barve, Tumbbad was re-released on September 13 amid public demand and what followed after that led the trade by surprise. The film almost wiped out its original total collection of approximately 13.50 crores net in the first week only with a superb 13.15 crores net. ## As word of mouth spread, the film maintained a very good hold in the second week with a solid 11.40 crores net, followed by another 4.40 crores net in the third week. In the fourth week, the movie remained over the 1 crore mark and scored approximately 1.65 crore net, for a total re-release collection of approximately 30.50 crores in 4 weeks (28 days). ## This is a very good collection for the genre and a movie which was a flop in its original run back in 2018. Tumbbad has managed to turn the table and also crossed the 50 crores gross mark (52.25 crores) at the worldwide box office, including the 16 crores gross original collection. ## The re-release factor used to work big for the Indian film industry a couple of decades ago and the trend is returning. Box Office: 'Tumbbad' Re-Release 21 Days Collection; Total Crosses 50 Crore Gross Worldwide

Mumbai, October 4 - Folk horror thriller Tumbbad triumphs in its re-release run domestically. It has been a standout performer among all the re-release titles at the Indian box office and has emerged as the biggest repeat gross ever. ## Directed by Rahi Anil Barve and produced by Sohum Shah, Tumbbad has completed 3 weeks (21 days) of its repeat run and has scored approximately 29 crores net collection (34.25 crores gross). In its third week, the film minted around 4.50 crores net which is fantastic as it faced competition from Devara apart from the holdover Stree 2.## Earlier, the Tumbbad re-release had scored 13.15 crores net in the first week, followed by 11.40 crores net in the second week. Mumbai, October 3 - Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan is reportedly in talks with director Amar Kaushik for an adventure film. Kaushik has just delivered an all-time blockbuster in the form of Stree 2, starring Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao. ## According to the report by Pinkvilla, Shah Rukh Khan has had a couple of meetings with director Kaushik and producer Dinesh Vijan of Maddock Films regarding their potential collaboration. The project in question will not be part of Maddock Supernatural Universe, but mark the beginning of a new one. ## It is said that SRK is aiming to have a 3-film line-up in place before he starts shooting for director Sujoy Ghosh's King.
