Box Office: Jawan Becomes The Highest-Grossing Indian Movie In Gulf Countries
Mumbai, September 26 - Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan becomes the first Indian actor to have two films in the 1000 crores club at the worldwide box office as his latest mega-blockbuster Jawan achieved this milestone in the record time for a Bollywood title.## Directed by Atlee Kumar, "Jawan" has broken many records in its run so far, and one of the biggest of them is being the highest-grossing Indian movie of all time in the GCC Countries. It has outgrossed SRK's own movie "Pathaan", which was released earlier this year, to become the number 1 Indian title in the Gulf.## "Jawan" has scored $14.15+ million so far in 19 days, crossing "Pathaan's" $14.10 million lifetime collection. SS Rajamouli's "Baahubali 2 The Conclusion" is the third Highest-grossing Indian movie in the Gulf with $10.30 million, followed by Salman Khan's "Bajrangi Bhaijaan" and Aamir Khan's "Dangal" at number 4 and 5 with $9.45 million and $8.80 million, respectively.## Meanwhile, "Jawan" is nearing crossing "RRR" to become the highest-grossing Indian film at the North American box office. It has grossed $13.90 million through 3rd weekend in the US, just $1.2 million short of SS Rajamouli's directorial movie which scored $15.10 million last year.## The action thriller film, produced by Red Chillies Entertainment, has earned 1010+ crores at the worldwide box office in 19 days. In India, the movie has minted $680 crores gross while overseas collection is over 331 crores. It is currently the second highest-grossing Indian movie of 2023 but will become the highest-grossing of the year this weekend by crossing "Pathaan" (1055+ crores).## Stay tuned...
